There is a new sheriff in town..and his name is Dominguez! As debut's go, that was one of the best in recent memory.
Montiel was much improved in the second half, looking very much a good acquisition at RB, until he almost let in Haaland for their third.
The Tavares injury (although looking poor so far), is a worry. We are back to Aina at LWB (who was superb again) and then Williams and Toffolo. If Tavares is out for the rumoured 3-6 months then EM will be off to the January sales.
To keep it down to 2-0 at HT was admirable, if only we could have profited from Rodri being sent off. A bad day at the office for Awoniyi showed how goal shy we currently are when he has an off day.
The Good: Aina, Elanga and Montiel.
The Bad: Awoniy's finishing. I think we need someone else in January. Not to replace him, but to challenge for his spot.
The Ugly: Rodri with the hands round MGWs throat. Certain pundits claiming that there was nothing in it.
Special Mention: Dominguez. Yates isn't getting his starting spot anytime soon.
The Last Game (Brentford):
Navas
Worrall Felipe Niakhate
Aurier Danilo Mangala Lodi
MGW Johnson
Awoniyi
Stronger in the middle, but arguably weaker up front and at the back. We lost 2-1 last time, letting in two in the last ten minutes after Danilo's superb take and finish.
Team:
Turner
Aurier Boly Niakhate Aina
CHO Sangare Dominguez Elanga
MGW
Awoniyi
Subs: Vlachodimos, Worrall, Montiel, Williams, Mangala, Santos, Yates, Origi, Wood
Injuries:
Danilo, Felipe and Tavares look set to miss out.
Missing out:
Hennessy, McKenna, Murillo, Omobamidele, Toffolo, Aguilera, Kouyate.
Form:
Forest - W2 D1 L3 GF7 GA9
Brentford - W1 D3 L2 GF9 GA9
Forest (H) - W4 D1 L1 GF11 GA8
Brentford (A) - W3 L3 GF8 GA5
* Brentford are winless in their last 4 EPL games.
Prediction:
We have to fancy ourselves for this one. Our new signings are getting valuable minutes and Dominguez in particular looks to be the Freuler we expected.
Brentford play Arsenal on Wednesday night and have eight inuries to their 28 man squad. Whilst they will no doubt play their youth team, this is a great opportunity to move back into the top ten.
Note* I have a wedding on Sunday so will no doubt miss the game live. Let's hope by the time I log in on Monday morning that we are celebrating a Forest win!!!

Take a point with 10 men.
Reckon will finish any way between 11th to 15th.

At last MOTD give us decent coverage. Lineker and Shearer nowhere to be seen.

At the final whistle I felt disappointed at only getting one point when at kick off I was expecting we would get three.
Surprising team selection, but we started well and took control. But after about half an hour Brentford got on top. Can't complain about any of the VAR decisions. Niakhate was a bit naive to get the second yellow. and I thought he struggled a bit at LB.
Turner had his worst game for us, maybe could have stopped a goal and nearly cost us another goal when caught in possession. I'd still pick him on saturday though.
Back four coped well. Boly and Murillo outstanding.
Midfield three looked solid. Dominguez my MOTM
Taiwo isolated up front need one of our MFs or wide men to run on for the second ball when he wins headers.
Attacking subs near the end and it looked like we might nick all three points that we didn't really deserve.
Special mention for Harry Toffolo. First time on the grass this season and he slotted right in and got an assist for the goal. For me he starts agains Palace.
