I read an article the other day on espn by that guy ogden that suggested city were primed more than anyone ever this season to finally win the quad. Yet here we are in september and its over already.
It seems the almost impossible quest for anyone. We gave it a good bash a couple of seasons ago yet ultimately still only came away with 2 of the 4. Utd fans will need to remind me how far they went in the league cup in 99, I dont remember.
In times where fixture congestion and player welfare is becoming more and more prominent do we think anyone will ever actually pull the quad off? Hand on heart I thought city might have went close this year but its gone already.
Will anyone ever win the quad

Who cares?
The league cup and CL are a joke.

You need favourable early round draws where you can play your reserves and win, then take it more seriously from the semis onwards. City didn't get that so are out.

It’s a competition.
Our team are in it.
I want the team to win it.
End of, ish ….
My main if not sole concern is the mental and physical pressure put on the squad, especially the youngsters playing every 3 to 4 days for the remainder of the season.
With FIFA, EUFA and the club’s owners desperately keen to screw every penny out of the game, and devil take the hindmost, my fear is that we will end up with young, but burnt out talent.

1 game away from equalling City’s Domestic Quadruple.
Close but no coconut

That was the great joy of last night's victory for Newcastle.
Overshadowed by the shock of a first meaningful defeat in living memory for Pep's tyrannical Terminators was the fact that neither City nor Liverpool can win the quadruple this season.
The football family can thus rest easy for another year.
