Bad news first: Brennan Johnson is gong to miss the game.
Good news is Maddison should be available.
Bentancur not far off now, expected in November. Meanwhile, Gil and Sess are almost there
Prime time slot for the game that has 2 unbeaten sides agdibst each other.

Spurs stats at Arsenal blew the notion that Arsenal are a passing team that controls the ball. At times it was barely 35% for them. In the end it was 45% playing at home. Liverpool therefore can’t think they’ll control the ball totally.
Spurs have a very. young side with many under 23 years old. Meanwhile Liverpool have couple of OAPs in their ranks.🤣
Noticeable that 18 year old Jamie Donley was seen training with the first team ahead of this clash.

I'd had forgotten about Gil until i saw him in some club media yesterday.
As a natural left winger, tricky, dribbler who actually prefers playing on his natural side, he could be good player for us.
I was impressed when he first arrived, he looked to have lovely technique, like the way he moved and carried the ball.
This position and this manager might suit him though. I mean if there is ever a manager who does not suit a player like Gil, then its Conte.

Fantastic player Gil and race reviews in Spain about him. Only Hojbjerg suited Conte style I think!
Gil could play a cameo role for us to unlock low block defenses when he's joined full training!

Bad news about Johnson.....from what I've seen we could use him against Pool. He would give VVD something to think about!
