Since when was “Intent” a thing?

Honestly, the nonsense that pundits, ex-players and fans are coming out with. Gary Neville is saying that it wasn’t like a challenge when a player tries to break a leg…wtf in 9/10 of the similar challenges that are unanimously accepted as a red, the player isn’t trying to break the players leg either!

RE Jota, he should/could have got booked for a challenge before the first yellow anyway, and then even though the contact was minimal, with Udogie at full pace, a slight slight touch put him off balance.

Honestly, the amount of crying and salt from everyone, not just Liverpool fans.

Saying that, the offside goal definitely looked on.

But who cares, we could never get enough lucky decisions against pool to ever make up for the Sissoko pen in the CL final.

Apparently for Liverpool’s goal today, it originated from a free kick that never was, so theres that too 🤷🏾‍♂️

I wonder if I have an accident in my car I will be able to scream "there was no intent" so I dont lose my no claims bonus, even if it was a mistake by me?

FFS he got a red and deserved one he could have broken Bissoumas leg

That was a straight RED no matter what that idiot Neville says about "intent".

Nevile is just trying too hard to be liked by Varpool fans it was a clear red card, reckless, over the top and a dangerous leg breaker, there is no debate whatsoever.

Jota`s first yellow was unlucky, but he was let off a clear yellow just before that, so deserved 2 yellows.

How refreshing to have a bad decision with the offside go in Spurs favour in a game v Varpool for once, usually 9 times out of every 10 these decisions go Varpool`s way.

No doubt the media will be crying about the perceived injustice all next week, oh and where was the PGMOL statement when Jota was let off a red card last season after he studded Skipp in the face, or when TAA was let off a clear red card and conceding a penalty for a shove on Sessegnon etc etc

Sky pundits last night were pathetic re the red card. It is the clearest red card you will ever see. And then the doubled down on it after the match lol

The officials bail Varpool out on a regular basis, but on the rare occasion the boot is on the other foot they whine and cry like they are being victimized.

Pathetic, despicable, obnoxious football club with a fan base to match.

You’re right the Nketiah tackle in Vicario was more of a red carded offence
