Saturday 12,30 pm, how many points should Spurs realistically be getting from their next half a dozen matches? In the context of already played Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool in the first seven matches, the next six on paper does not look nearly as difficult, but of course football is not played on paper, so will Spurs slip up, or will they still be undefeated before meeting Man City away in early December
Luton (a)
Fulham (h)
Crystal Palace (a)
Chelsea (h)
Wolves (a)
Aston Villa (h)
Chance really for Spurs to establish themselves firmly as a Top Four contender or even better. Obviously probably depends on Spurs keeping their best XI on the pitch for most of those games, but with Bentancur due back, hopefully Johnson not out for to long, should boost the squad options.
What do we all think?
Starting with Luton this coming

We should expect 3 points but Luton will be a different test again. They will be a bit more up and at us than the likes of Sheffield Utd and have strong presence up front, so we will need to be aerially strong, which i would say so far this season has not been our strongest point.
Funnily enough though i think we will find beating these sorts of teams away may be easier than at WHL where they will just park the bus. Should show a bit more intent and openness away from home so if we can cope with the away fans our quality should prevail. 1 goal should lead to several

I think the message that needs to be drilled into the players heads by Ange this week and the coming weeks is not to get complacent or cocky and take each games as it comes.
Although the next three games on paper look straight forward enough they are not and will prove to be sticky tough games and the players need to be on it and may have to put more effort in to get a result.

12 points

Based on form and the fact we only have one game a week to focus on, injuries permitting I would demand no less than 14 points from that lot.
Luton - we should be winning, but it’ll be hard away against a physical low block team. Win.
Fulham - watched them last night and they are poor, we should be winning this. Win.
Palace - blow hot and cold, good atmos at their ground and won’t be easy. Could see a draw.
Chelsea - hard to call, they have quality players but they are yet to gel. Poch’s return to WHL will be weird. Chelsea fans treat this as their biggest game of the season. Draw.
Wolves - another poor team, they’ve just done a number on City but that will be an anomaly in their season, we should be expecting to go there and win and with our style of play we seem to look better away from home where teams open up a bit. Win.
Villa - they are looking good this season, will be a tough game but we are at home and they will be deep into the drudgery of the Europa Conference group stage by then so hopefully that will play in our favour. Win.
14 points. Would take that, we’d be on 31 points after 13 games which is on course for top 4, and still unbeaten. No doubt Luton will now hand us our first defeat this Saturday, such is football

We should be going unbeaten through this run of games but I'd like to see us go on one of these long winning runs now. 6/7 wins on the trot. Perhaps a draw at the end to Villa would be acceptable.
Realistically we should be getting better now compared to the start of the season - more used to Ange's style of play, certain players coming more into form like Kulu, Son and possibly even Richarlison, with the added bonus of a lack of midweek fixtures.

It’s one game at a time, Luton is a must win, it’s the easiest away day all season.
The top 8 sides are all very tight now but if we took 15 plus from this run then I would fancy a gap will form and 32 pts from a possible 39 would be title contending form of Man City weren’t around.
Top 5 is a CL spot, we’re in with a massive chance now
