Don't think I saw this from anyone else?

Vic - 8. Solid, not massively tested
Porro - 8. Worked tirelessly. Great effort with the outside of his boot.
Romero - 9. Immense.
VDV - 9. Immense. Well taken goal.
Udogie - 7. Full of running, but gave the ball away a few times.
Bissouma - 3. Both yellows were ridiculous.
Sarr- 7. I actually thought he was pretty poor and wasteful first half. But stepped up massively second half.
Maddison - 7. Worked tirelessly, great work to create the goal.
Kulusevski - 8. Put in a hell of a shift. Never stopped.
Son - 6. Had little impact on the game.
Richy - 5. Very poor.

Hojbjerg - 7.5 Very solid, helped settle things.
Skipp - 6.5 did alright.
Royal - 7. Really helped control that side.
Davies - 6.5 did alright
Veliz - 7. Was a useful menace up too for the final minutes.

So what's the view of the new manager so far? Results flattering or fully deserved?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pretty hard to say.
On the plus side he has all the players playing really well. That has led to very good results so far.

On the minus side he does seem to be riding his luck.
For example, the disallowed Liverpool goal was the result of his overly attacking strategy leaving us wide open at the back. Had that goal been correctly allowed, it may well have been a very different game. And he also benefited from having two Pool players sent off!
I could analyze other matches for Luck as well.

Overall, I like the plus side. But the squad is terribly thin, and a couple of key injuries will lead to very different results.
So the Jury is OUT..

All 6/7 bar four players. Micky an 8. Bissouma 4, Son 4, Richarlison 3. Both the front two were poor.

On the other side of the luck debate:

Perisic out for the season, Solomon 3 months - training injuries

Weak penalty against Brentford

Deflected goals against at Arsenal and Brentford

The only real luck we’ve had is the Liverpool game, we were well worth the result we got in the other 7 games. Yes there was a lot of injury time at home to Sheff U, but that was because they started time wasting from the kick off, we battered then but struggled to take our chances up until the end.

One of 2 things will derail us, 1. Even more injuries than the 6 we’ve had to contend with in the opening 8 games 2. Our finishing, if Richy puts those chances away yesterday in the first 5 mins we go on to win 4/5-0, instead it became a tough match

Had we had Kane instead of Richie then defo 4/5 nil

It's not really hard to say though is it? He's obviously been great so far. I mean it's our best start since 60/61 and he has followed managers with far bigger and better reputations.

Results have been excellent, style of football has been excellent, and all this after we were a complete mess last season and lost our best player in the summer.

The only questions are the team selection in the cup game and how Ange would be managing with European football.

Think Ted is being extremely harsh, probably because he boldly claimed when Postecoglou took charge that he'd be gone by Christmas

It's not perfect yet, and Ted is right that the squad is paper thin in some areas, but make no mistake: Postecoglou has revolutionised the club in a ridiculously short time. The football is unrecognisable and the feel around the club even more so. The team is suddenly likeable again, enjoyable to watch and support. And all it's taken is a few months and a few good transfers.

He's made Mourinho and Conte, two of the most successful managers ever, look like frauds.

I've just watched the Luton game.
I think AussieGlue's substitutions after the Bissouma send off were bang on the money.
And I must say the only players I have reservations about are Richarlison and Bissouma...and for totally different reasons.
Richarlison just cannot seem to score goals. He had enough chances in the first 10 minutes of that game to score 2. But he takes far too long to line up a shot, and his heading seems to have deserted him.
Right now he's a disappointment.

Bissouma has gone backwards to being a headless chicken again.
His first year here I couldn't see any excuse for buying him, he was useless.
Then Aussieglue came in and made a player of him,....turned him into an attacking midfielder...just what we needed along side Maddison!
And then at Luton he goes back to being a headless chicken again and trying on the most ridiculous dive I have ever seen....and just after receiving a yellow card!
The truth.....Bissouma needs a conference with Aussieglue every 5 minutes to get told what to do next
The guy really does not have a brain..

So because Bissouma has one silly moment, Ted thinks he has gone backwards.
