If they didn't have their big drum to make some atmosphere during dreary league games they'd be a complete irrelevance. Instead they bring the rest of our fan base into disrepute season after season. They're an embarrassment.
The banner at the weekend with "Victory to the Resistance" was insane and the optics were terrible. It looks like they were in support of terrorism.
Now today's statement where they could have cleared it up and at least attempted to make the distinction between Hamas' actions and the wider Palestinian population.. nope, just full of victimhood and grievances. At this stage I'm beginning to wonder if they even understand the distinction. Probably not given they're illiterate morons.
Now they're demanding the rest of the support wave Palestinian flags during the Atletico game. Who tf made these self appointed whanks the voice of the wider support? Who are they to tell us what to do?
I'm in support of the Palestinian population who have been shat on by both Israel and Arab states, including their own corrupt leaders in Hamas and Fatah, but that support should be left at the turnstile. The reason the club had to make yesterday's statement is because it's inevitable that the club will face sanctions, not that these "rhebel" f@nnies care. They portray themselves as oppressed freedom fighters in solidarity with genuinely oppressed peoples when in reality they're just neds with balaclavas and pyro.

Agree with a decent proportion of the above, but for me; the belief from Hamas is to cause as much atrocity as possible in order to receive in turn an overly hostile and aggressive response in the knowledge that other states and countries will take one side or another. The aim is to create havoc and conflagration, whilst accepting that many many thousands of innocents will be killed or maimed. They’re more than happy to “pay this price”.
The GB as ever are a small group of dafties who somehow believe they are of any relevance. They just want to upset the board, other normal people who view them as distasteful fwckwits at best, and any relevant authorities in their egotistic drive for relevance.
As always, best ignored.
There’s no taking of sides in this centuries old conflict. Both sides commit atrocities at will and for their own gains in the belief that they are right and have a right to act as they do.

The issue is that the population is so dumbed down now that everything is a binary choice and nothing is nuanced.
If you're pro-Israel, you must be anti-palestine, etc, etc. It's the most complex situation on the planet.
I'm pro-israel as a state. I believe that it's essential that it continues and is able to defend itself. I don't like the fact that every one of its neighbours would blow it off the face of the planet today if it could get away with it.
I've visited the country a few times and I've never been welcomed anywhere the way I was there. A friendly people and very proud of their country. Happy to co-exist with anyone who doesn't mean them harm.
Having said that, their government, supported by many of their people, have blood on their hands.
The Palestinian people have been treated dreadfully by all sides and many deserve better. However, many support Hamas and worse and many support the persecution and clearance of Christians from 'the Holy Land. Feck them. They're not helping.
Let's be honest here, The world has more than 40 (might even be more than 50) Islamic Republics already. It doesn't need any more. We dont need sharia law anywhere.
At the end of the day it all comes down to one thing IMO and if somebody told me I couldn't ever eat a bacon sandwich again I'd be raging anaw.
