Another tough Molineux match up against one of the most talented squads in the country. A bit of a mixed start to the season for the geordies some high scoring victories peppered with a sprinkling of defeats leave them in 6th place but with the distraction of champions league footie maybe giving them split priorities.
Recent games have been tight, decided by the odd goal or draws. In fact 10 of the PL fixtures between these sides have ended in draws, nine of them 1-1. A rare match up of young English managers in one of the country's oldest fixtures which dates back to 1898 and includes an FA Cup final. NUFC circa 2023 is different gravy however compared to even quite recent past. They have spent wisely when the temptation could have been otherwise and have evolved the squad without revolutionising it. Dangerous players, and a very tactically competent coach who, though I hate to admit it is one of the best in the league. (Howe's Bournemouth side were one of the biggest bunches of shat houses I've seen).
On paper this looks like an away win and the odds would confirm this, however there are signs wolves are becoming something approaching the sum of their parts again under Gary O'Neil.

Good news, especially after Neves' departure, which recouped much of that money, does not, at the moment, seem to have greatly weakened the squad.

Looks like we can add “optimism” to the naivety that affects some of our supporters? It now appears that Neto will be out for a much longer period than reported by one of our prawn sandwich eating luminaries earlier in the week. 🥪🍤

Jeonbuk 3 - Incheon 1
Tight ish until the last minute of added time when the visitors conceded a pen. Good experience though bagged seats with a table to put the beers on. Very civilised.

Only spent a short time in Korea on this Asian trip but hope to spend more time there the next time. Hope you would recommend it oldgold? Spent most of my time on this trip in Japan and really enjoyed that

Went to Japan in February and was very very impressed. Especially with Kyoto. Biggest surprise was the lack of English spoken actually, just didn't expect that from Japan. Todai-ji temple in Nara was pretty incredible as well.
