Rotherham Ipswich

2-2, Rotherham level it deservedly in injury time - thank God.

We call them non-sequesters down our neck of the woods.
Get a lot of them on FB, Two Ronnies, I mean, great one the other day, Ronnie C goes into Ronnie B's opticians and starts reading the furniture as though it were an eye test chart.
Very funny comedy but not much cop as a central defender.

Tangents, Dennis. ...and Ronnie Corbett. Do you remember him?

So Grey is acting as a kind of "suggested for you"? It beats posts about psoriasis, air-fryers and Simon and Garfunkel I guess.

I was concerned about how Madeley is spelt at the same time I was thinking about Peter Lorimer another of the greats and I transposed the names. Only recently I was talking to a relation of his, who said he was in a bad way before he died.
Footballers seem to put a lot of weight on when they retire. It must be difficult to maintain their playing weight especially when they are getting weighed every other day. Even though they run a lot during a match some may still have a diet. Dieting must be one of the most miserable things to have to do.

Woke up concerned about the transfer window, certain that we will have lots of clubs sniffing around Summerville in particular. Certain our season and the return to the premier league revolves around keeping hold of the best player in the division.
What this or Madely has to do with Rotherham and or Ipswich I am yet to fathom.

Totally agree Dennis not sure what the Madeley connection is with Ipswich's result !!!

I realised as soon as I hit send that I had mis-spelt Paul's surname but I kind of figured that in the great scheme of things that some things matter others less so. Could have put it down to my laptop autocorrect but I hold my hands up, I'm human, shoot me. I am sure the great man would be forgiving.

Having to deal with a family member with dementia sort of trains you to inhabit surreal worlds, not that I'm implying Grey or anyone else on here has dementia but I don't mind if a thread rears off the subject particularly but that's me.

I think the point Grey makes about Paul Madeley just emphasises that with last night's result between Rotherham and Ipswich being a draw and therefore keeping Leeds and others within striking distance of the top 2 that that's great and reminding us Leeds are benefiting particulaly this season more than previous by not square pegging players apart from one at Left back and hopefully we carry on in that vein.

However let's keep our fingers crossed we don't suffer any unfortunate injuries that sees us revert back to square pegging too many players again because we don't have someone like Paul Madeley who was excellent at filling in in a multitude of positions.

Now back to The Two Ronnies...

Four candles - or fork 'andles, anyone?

Them were the days. Simple but clever humour. Beats totally unfunny puerile twaddle like Little Britain or whatever any day.

I always preferred Barker to Corbett - Porridge is timeless and sometimes even makes me feel homesick.

I think the 49s want to do the job properly I cite the number of back-of-house appointments they have made scouts for example. They are running the club in a different manner to recent owners.
There have been changes for example the u21s are playing more games and more subs are required by the first team. I could imagine they would not be best pleased when D. Farke could not fill the first-team bench.
At my age, there are times when I am not sure what day of the week it is, but at the same time I understand technology better, things I struggled with when I was young I see clearer now.
