Now that Everton have had a ten points deduction for breaking financial rules,be interesting to see what action the three relegated teams take.
I for one hope they really pursue Everton for compensation for being relegated when if all was equal they could have stayed up.
Think this will drag on for a while, but if I was an Everton fan I would be very worried.
They may well stay up as it is a very weak premiership this season, but it leaves a rather bad taste that they have survived by apparently breaking the rules.
If Everton lose their appeal be interesting to see what action we and Leeds take
Interesting times ahead.

The chair of the commission David Phillips KC said he was "satisfied that the applicant clubs have potential claims for compensation".
He is probably better qualified to voice that opinion than Simon Jordan.

So what if we get compensation? Is it going to restore us to the premier league? Nope. Are we going to be a better run club? Nope. Will Rudkin get his act together and actually behave like a responsible DoF? Nope
Doubt we’re going to see anything like the £100m that’s been touted. The club got relegated because it was an utter basket case - I’d much rather we managed it better than chasing after compensation claims that could drag out for months on end

Technical point but isn't it only Leicester that have a case in this, since the other two would've been relegated anyway?

Depends when the deduction was made. It could have made a huge difference and changed the whole picture at the bottom.
Plus Burnley have a case from the previous season.
It’s really been going on that long!

Think this could drag on for a while, but surely if we would have stayed up last season if Everton had not broken the rules, then there has to be a strong case for compensation.
Trouble is it could open up all kinds of future claims.
Not an everton fan since the infamous Wimbledon last game of the season over 30 years ago.
Anyone too young to know about that game should check it out.

It will drag on and at best result in a pay out that doesn’t really financially change anything. We were relegated because we were run completely incompetently. End of

Even so, £50-£100m into the coffers isn’t going to hurt 99. We’ll be stuck with Rudkin either way. Unless of course Sir Jim Ratcliffe poaches him to team up with Lee Congerton at Man Utd!

😂😂😂 no they don’t. It won’t change a single thing. and I guarantee we ain’t getting £100m. At best if 4 clubs come together it could push everton into administration (as the new owners won’t pay any damages) and relegate them. What then? Does it really erase the memories of that season? Not in the slightest
The damage - which we did to ourselves - has been done and there is no going back. We are a yo yo club, the King Power glory days are a thing of the past I’m afraid. This is just a complete distraction

Positive note that the same Independent Commission will oversea any compensation Claim us and others might make, clocks ticking for the Club to decide whether to go ahead.
