Chelsea v Newcastle 3.pm kick off

Good time for the blues to face Newcastle at home

Chelsea are beginning to emerge from the huge injury crisis that has handicapped Poch's squad since August, where as Newcastle are currently missing several key squad members.

Both clubs were taken over by new owners in the last 2/3 seasons, it can be reasonably suggested that Staveley / Saudi approach with Eddie Howe has proved the more stable & balanced transition, at a fraction of the cost

The Geordies will be up for it on home turf , a perfect challenge for the young talented Cfc side , who are showing signs of promise.

Lets hope Cfc can continue to build on the positive progression achieved against Spurs & City prior to the international break

Well, i wouldn't agree with that opinion, we are consistent with our inconsistency

Newcastle to their credit played very well.

Chelsea played well offensively in the first half.We were erratic and defensively poor in the first half.We should not have let Pulisic,Koulibaly,Mendy and Ruben Loftus Cheeks leave. We signed young rookies and we are reaping rewards for not signing a quality midfielder and a proper goalkeeper or striker. That is solely manager's wrong decision.

Sorry but in my opinion, absolutely the right decision to let those perennial under achievers go.

Time for the new breed - but I'm afraid you're going to have to be patient over the next 18 months!

BrummieBlue they were underachievers but they should flashes of brilliance and were better team players than current crop.We should have also not sold Giroud. He is still performing well for AC Milan.
