The squad has had enough time to become a cohesive unit.
The manager & coaching staff have had enough time to install the message.
The clubs is emerging from the injury crisis, we have adequate cover.
But we are still extremely erratic.
Developing a spine, a core group of players who can guide the more inexperienced players is still proving elusive.
So genuine question, what is the problem?
Failing to perform consistently ?

It’s gonna take Poch time - it wasn’t overnight at Spurs either. What Chelsea as a club need more than anything else is a period of stability - it takes time to grow cohesion and an identity, you can’t buy that.

The thing is striketeam, we have (newcastle aside) been playing well. I'm not sure what else poch can get out of these players if we can't put these chances away. Never known so much frustration.
Even v spurs before the red card, two dissallowed goals, jackson missing from 5 yards out etc. its a nightmare.

Yeah I don’t rate Jackson as a striker, good player but not a proper finisher. It’s fine to add a finisher in Jan and Ivan Toney seems a no brainer. We would have games like that under Poch as well though, absolutely dominant but can’t get the goal - even with Kane.
Stick with Poch, get a finisher and Chelsea will be back competing for CL spots at the least next season

I’m not that bad, I only finished 4th in the Khunt comp in the end and Culer wasn’t allowed - so there are at least 4 bigger khunts than me on JA

Must be nice to finally have a manager who actually looks to play to your team's strengths and go for it after the Conte and Mourinho years. Would have been perfect for Kane probably but just unfortunate with timing/contract.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair Poch played to our strengths as well - Kane still scored more under the others , he is just one of those players that will thrive wherever.
The football is much better to watch and I like Ange, as usual our biggest issue is our chairman. It was negligent to go into the season with 3 senior CB - one of which being Dire, a player that is thankfully out of contract in the summer - shows how good he is, the 2 other CB’s injured or suspended for the last game and the manager picks a RB and LB instead of him.

Having inexperienced footballers is the main problem. We should not have let Joao Felix leave Chelsea. We should have signed him. Also,we should have signed a quality goalkeeper like Jan Oblak and a top striker instead of dross such as Jackson. Also,we should have signed James Maddison and James Ward Prowse and a quality and experienced striker.I wish we had signed Rafael Leao this summer as a winger.Chelsea not signing a quality goalkeeper and striker is Pochettino's blunder as Chelsea manager.
