Messi is predictable?

I mean seriously guys, he is becoming a little predictable.
---------------------------------

He just destroys teams for fun, all the time.

The man needs to throw in a sloppy performance to keep us guessing!

He should be more like Rooney

Latin women would probably rip your balls out if you cheated on them

because iniesta won them the world cup???

Gerrard wouldn't exactly get booed anywhere here if he did the same.

The difference is that there is no market in Spain for these kind of stories.

Nobody cares.

If Messi was to be found with 17 hookers in his bed then people would probably shrug and call him a jammy so and so. In Britain people prefer to take the "moral highground" and immerse themselves in so much hypocracy it's a wonder they don't drown.

Don't just blame the English press. They only provide these stories because the English public want them.

I like how you keep saying English. I'm sure these stories were all over the back pages in Scotland, too.

SKA - not in the Scottish press that is only Scottish (ie Scotsman or Herald).

Most of the Scottish media is English owned and takes many of it's stories from the English media.

Very rarely do you get stories like that about Scottish players. Even David Goodwillies rape accusation only got a little press, whereas if that was the English Young Player of the Year he'd have been splashed over the front pages for weeks.

The newspapers have no idea "what the public want" but they know that, no matter what they put in there, the same people will buy the same papers out of force of habit.

Very true, although I would hope that more and more people would stop buying tabloids because of the pash they put in it.

I stopped a while back.

Never bought a tabloid in my life, I hardly even read the newspapers any more. The amount of times they get a story completely wrong is unbelievable.

yes Ivan the hypocricy is incredible!! people are saying 'we can't have an England captain who cheated ', wasn't there a statistic that almost 50% of people had affairs? i don't know why people care so much about the personal life people they don't even know. also sometimes it seems like obsessing over their private life is their compensation for these people earling loads of money.
