Because all he does is run around like a headless chicken. I don’t know why fans are getting such a boner for him - he’s shown feck all in the appearances he’s made so far. I’m sure with time he’ll come good - but there’s absolutely nothing to suggest he should be commanding a starting place or automatically be given minutes on the pitch

He was bought for the future - not this season. He’s not ready

Us football fans are a pretty simple bunch though - a player who runs around aimlessly will always be preferred because it’s perceived that he ‘works hard’ - even if he doesn’t work efficiently
