I thought all the media, pundits and the FA were all out to stop Spurs from bothering their darling big 5?

Going to Spurs, there is less pressure - he's going to a team that are all singing from the same hymn sheet, right behind the manager, and maybe Werner can show what he is made of. If it doesn't work out, it's been a risk worth taking for them.

Coming to Utd is different - under the microscope from day one, everyone pretty much expecting him to fail, and he would be under the same pressure as Hojlund is in terms of needing to score a lot of gaols from a limited supply. Honestly, I would pick Spurs over us in the current circumstances.

QThey’ve signed him on a loan deal until the end of the season. Have we missed out on a potentially decent loan signing in Werner?

So he had the chance to tread in the hallowed footsteps of Odion Ighalo and Wout Weghorst, and decided not to.

We don't need that kind of negativity.

If you don't aspire to be like the greats of the game, you don't belong at United.

There is no way he would have succeeded here. He couldn't do it at Chelsea and we have seen how many Ex-Chelsea players have done at United. He also hasn't been the same since Chelsea. We also don't have a good track record with our signings from the German league.

Whether he was touted to us and we rejected it (good thinking from whoever that was) or he rejected us, either way it's a good for the club. And the player.

He basically offers what Rashford offers up front.
