Nations League Draw

This evening at 5pm.

Who do you want? Scotland fly the flag for the home nations in the top tier whilst England try to recover from relegation last time out. Wales join England as top seeds in the second tier.

Premier League
Pot 1 - Spain, Croatia, Italy, Netherlands
Pot 2 - Denmark, Portugal, Belgium, Hungary
Pot 3 - Switzerland, Germany, Poland, France
Pot 4 - Scotland, Israel, Bosnia, Serbia

Championship
Pot 1 - Austria, Czechia, England, Wales
Pot 2 - Finland, Ukraine, Iceland, Norway
Pot 3 - Slovenia, Ireland, Albania, Montenegro
Pot 4 - Georgia, Greece, Turkey, Kazakhstan

League 1
Pot 1 - Romania, Sweden, Armenia, Luxembourg
Pot 2 - Azerbaijan, Kosovo, Faroe Islands, Bulgaria
Pot 3 - Northern Ireland, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Cyprus
Pot 4 - Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Gibraltar

League 2
Diddies.

Torn between wanting the glamour games for Scotland or getting the best chance of qualifying for the finals so I favour a mix, Italy, Hungary, Poland please.

Kazakhstan must be the team to avoid for England and Wales given the travel involved

Yeah, the nations league has been good to Scotland and while the actual title maybe doesn't mean huge amount it's definitely helped replace meaningless friendlies with another route to qualification.

Does anyone else not give two tosses about the Nations League? They are still friendlies in my eyes however they want to dress them up. No player dreams of winning this competition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Completely disagree. It was one of the better ideas they've had in recent years, not that that's saying much.

Nations League means something to us here as it's a chance to compete against peers. Much better than friendlies.

As long as we’ve got Henderson, we’ll be okay.

Talking of which not long til wales play off. Confident diafol? I’ll be cheering you on. Despite the fact the group of hell awaits if you prevail.

We're lucky in that we have two home games as wouldn't really fancy us away.

On paper we should beat Finland but I our only win v Poland was in 1974 World Cup qualifying (the one where England draw against them in the final game when Poland had a 'clown' in goal. We need our better players available and match fit. Leeds have done well for us here buying quite a few.

Success to us is qualifying which is why I can understand why England fans sometimes find international football boring. You always qualify and get through the group stage of a tournament but usually fall against one of the first higher rank teams you play. For the record I do think that could well change this Summer though. If England play the right midfield they could go very far.
