Well done Bournemouth

Just like to extend a big thank you to Bournemouth. That was probably one of the best matches of the season. At half-time, we (Nottingham Forest) were in the bottom three, and Luton, 3-nil up, looked like world beaters. I did not believe you could come back from that, so a big thank you. As a Forest fan, it was on par with the game against Bristol City, which we won 2-1 with two very late Lyle Taylor goals.

If we beat Luton at the weekend could this be our turning point.
Key hope alive.

Bournemouth manager is a little under rated imo

Great student of the game and plays exciting football.

I was feeling really down at half time in the Bournemouth game. I was convinced after beating 'muff Luton would be buzzing and follow it up by beating us. Added to that a points deduction would see us marooned in the bottom three many points from safety.

But now after a remarkable comeback by 'muff, it's Forest whose spirits will be lifted and Luton who will be really down. I now fancy us to win on Saturday (as long as we don't get another bizarre team selection from Nuno).
By kick off on Saturday we should know our punishment from the PSR panel, I'm hopeful that it will be no more than a 4 point deduction which we should be able to cope with.

Well played Bournemouth

Roll on Saturday.

Beat Luton and you stay up I reckon (points deduction permitting).

You have the best fixtures on paper of the clubs around you but really feel Nuno should let the shackles off that front four and also have MGW far further forward.

The half time score yesterday really has to act a massive wake up call. We were in the bottom three, that has got to set alarm bells ringing.
In reality we can’t afford to lose to any of Luton, Everton, Sheff U or Burnley (on the last day) all away from home.
We could get points from home games against Palace, Fulham and Wolves, doubt we’ll get anything from Spurs or Man City, but enough opportunity to gather sufficient points to avoid relegation, depending on the result of the FFP (or whatever you want to call it) outcome, and probable appeal.
IMHO, because of the debacle it has already shown to be, ie the change as early as this summer, makes me think we and Everton could get ‘suspended’ points deductions.
How on Earth at LEAST Villa, Wolves and Chelsea haven’t been charged, is yet another baffling decision. (It probably went to VAR).
The main reason for the rapid change in FFP,PSR is that more than HALF the clubs would fail next year, not surprisingly, and they daren’t let that happen.
The problem is, it may already be too late for us and/or Everton (who tbh have been sailing close to the wind for some time).
Regarding last nights game of football, from a ‘semi’ neutral point of view, it was a great watch, with a positive outcome for us.
Luton this year kind of remind me of us last season, other than they score more goals, in that, the majority of ‘neutral’ fans like them, which i believe was the case with us last season.
As the title says, well done ‘Muff, but also thanks to Luton for a stellar game of football.
