These are the current injured players, unavailable for our game v Belgium:
Sam Johnstone
Nick Pope
Kyle Walker
Harry Maguire
Kieran Trippier
Luke Shaw
Reece James
Marc Guehi
Levi Colwill
Tyrone Mings
T. Alexander-Arnold
Jack Grealish
Bakayo Saka
Harry Kane
Callum Wilson
4 guaranteed starters out as well as Grealish and Shaw who would be pushing to start. Plus some handy back ups.
Other than the 4 starters, who would you be concerned about missing the Euros?

Doesn't sound like Madders is going to start. Good news for us.

Only Luke Shaw from that list, he’s been brilliant for us the last couple of tournaments.

It's a friendly ,so a great chance for the new guys to make a statement, and a draw or even a loss at this moment before the Euros, is no great worry ,so come on lads, put a smile on our faces and cheer Gareth up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But you want to gently integrate new faces, not be forced to play 6 or 7 in one go because we will never get any rhythm going.
Watkins should have played a lot more by now but Kane alway starts.
We all know that Bellingham is a generational talent but who steps in when/if he gets injured. Who has been tried. Fodens had about half an hour and Maddison only played wide.
S'gate love Maguire but Braithewaite is the future so should have started vs Brazil
Mainoo wasnt even in the squad until injuries, we all know what Henderson can and cannot do, Philips too. Gallagher is not the future.
Gordon was the only player who has genuinely forced his way in through good form, and even then if Saka was fit he'd have played.
Southgate wastes these friendlies with his selection. We all know his tournament starting XI when fit but he has not prepared us a Plan B in terms of team selection if key players are injured.

We started five players against Brazil that were probably plan b options.

Although, could argue that some were even plan c and d given the injuries.

Shaw, the other choices are poor at LB

What happened to Chilwell he used to be quality?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He’s injured most of the time. Think he was out for 3 months. Has only started 9 PL games this season and he hasn’t been great since returning.
