The "Business end"...

The international break is over, and we go straight into a massive clash with Manchester City on Sunday.

It was around this time last season the wheels came off, although we won the first game after the March break comfortably (4-1 over Leeds) on Aprils Fools Day. We quickly became April fools as threw away 2 goal leads in the next 2 matches, before needing 2 very late goals to steal a draw with Southampton. Then it was over to the Etihad and a 4-1 humbling. Of course, by then Saliba was out, Holding was playing and Parteys massive drop off in form all contributory factors. A disastrous April - when it rains it pours.

Hopefully we can avoid injuries to the key players in the remainder of the season, and the return of the likes of Jesus, Partey and Tomiyasu may help spread the load. We do have the added challenge of a CL 2 legged tie with Bayern.

Our schedule for the remainder of the season is:
Sunday - Man City (a)
Wednesday - Luton Town (h)
Saturday 6th April - Brighton (a)
Tuesday 9th April - Bayern (h)
Sunday 14th April - Villa (h)
Wednesday 17th April - Bayern (a)
Saturday 20th April - Wolves (a)
Tuesday 23rd April - Chelsea (h)
Sunday 28th April - Spurs (a) - could move to Saturday if we beat Bayern.
--Potential CL semi final home vs Real or Man City----
Saturday 4th May - Bournemouth (h) - subject to change for TV/CL
--Potential CL semi final away to Real or Man City
Saturday 11th May - Man Utd (a) - subject to change for TV/CL
Sunday 19th May - Everton (h)

8 (maybe 9) games in April this year, we cannot repeat last season!!!

Arsene Wenger sealed his first title with a home win over Everton, can Mikel Arteta do the same?

Cannot see anything but a defeat at Emptyhad. This will be a big blow for us ahead of Munich matches.

Seems like Walker may not be available for them if true that could be a big advantage for us. He so often is their get out of jail free card that allows them to play a high line. Without him they don't have a lot of pace in that backline. Hoping Martinelli can play some part he would be a good bet to expose that.

Stones and Walker are doubtful I believe. Haaland may also be a doubt.
