Massive believer in

Performances end up in Results.

We havent played well for awhile.

Thought Piroe played half decent today, and was right to start, but got no service.

Eddie Gray on LUTV many years ago said the same and Im on that page. Performances eventually catch up with you, for and against. We've have got going since the international break, had plenty of games that we scraped by in / got lucky in (quality telling in the end) that quality ain't getting us over the line in games and we've deserved as many points as weve amassed recently.

3 to go, not over yet, but my confidence is dropping day by day.

Same happening to Liverpool right now ive compared us to all season. Cant keep being average for 60 mins and getting late winners. Luck runs out. Liverpool have flunked FA Cup, a 3 point lead at the top and practically thrown away a Europa league. We're doing the same.

Thought Piroe was awful myself. Mind you they all were. Gnonto looked about the best hope but he took him off which i thought was strange. We looked better when him and Roberts were on the right

I commented on the last thread (Lei, Ips, Sthn) that Southampton are now only 6 points behind us and will probably beat Leicester. They will beat us on the last day, if something doesn’t change. Probably Ipswich and Southampton will go up in autos.

I agree with you LIW about us not having played well for some time but we may disagree on dates.

I think we played well in the cup game against Chelsea but other than that the last game we played really well in was the Plymouth away game on the 17th February. We've dominated possession without creating very much in a lot of games and have looked so weary and short of ideas in the last few games it is hard to see us going up.

Didn’t matter who was up front with that service, we created just one clear opportunity…was it Anthony that laid it on a plate for Bamford? Blackburn were excellent, wasted time, fouled consistently, and laid traps the eventually led to their winner.

Everything is Bamfords fault apparently 😔

There's been a few games this season where Farke has tried his Kamikaze attack mode, reduce the defence or in the case of today midfield down to the very minimum in an attempt either to overturn a deficit or get a winning goal.
At one point today we had four defenders, a kid in midfield and five attackers and then at the death, three defenders, a kid in midfield and six attackers. I think the result was confused, nobody really knew what they were supposed to be doing and understandably it gave Blackburn the opportunity to attack on the break and score.
Two points from this, firstly today, Blackburn had come a little into the game but we were still dominant, the side needed tweaking, maybe a few tactical changes, late subs here and there, not the tactical tearing apart/cock-up that DF undertook.
And secondly, not once has one of those kamikaze attack-mode subbings actually worked, has he actually learnt?
Today was a monumental DF managerial cock-up.

I didn't think Piroe was that bad but it's the final touch and final ball that killed us today from all players. Sammie Szmodics was the best player on the pitch and did what we couldn't do, put it in the net.

Thought the multiple subs was wrong. Always feel a sub or at worst two to come on, see how it goes then tweek further. I had a bad feeling that we would leave ourselves exposed at the back and we did.

Fair play to Blackburn they did what they had to do and we didn't - no excuses.

We have played so- so for a while but the International break has exacerbated our woes.

You can really see why we wanted a number 10 as well in the summer, was it Amiri the player that we nearly signed?

Just cannot play through a low block like this. Summerville was poor today - he wants to be the big star but showed no desire today to try anything, just the safe pass constantly. Then the two players actually trying to do things got subbed off. Awful today from Farke
