We’ve done it! A huge collective sigh of relief as Leicester seal promotion to the PL at the first time of asking (as they should) as Leeds absolutely bottle it against QPR tonight.
While we all know the sanctions from the PL that await - we can at least punch the air in celebration at having overcome the first and biggest hurdle to our short term future. Failing to get promoted would have been pretty much the end for the next few seasons - what this does is gives us a chance to get the vital money needed for the club to start to rebuild
I’ve been incredibly critical of Enzo and the board this season. I certainly haven’t changed my mind on either - but tonight’s not about criticising, it’s about celebrating. So with that I’ll say well done to Enzo, the players and the club for accomplishing the first and most important step. A long way to go - but this is the start

Enjoy it....Savour it... Congratulations... The highs are few and far between for most football fans and as a Leeds supporter I'm extremely disappointed by our own apparant failure to get top 2 but that's football, it's not the end of the world... but it's close to feeling like it is.

Sorry sorry sorry 98 (loving the name change btw).
Work sometimes required me to be away and last night was one of those nights. And can you guess where I was? That’s right, Leeds 😂😂😂😂😂. Let’s just say there were some very unhappy people and I smugly kept my opinions to myself whilst fist pumping aggressively inside 😂.
I shall be having a few scoops to celebrate tonight don’t you worry. Gutted I couldn’t get on it last night and properly celebrate and I can’t wait to read all the articulates and comments today.
I’m in total alignment atm with most comments. We all have concerns over Enzo but have hope after adapting in the last 2 games. We all fear what sanctions could be imposed next season but hope that rule changes favour us. And finally , we all, all want Rudkin OUT!!
But today is not for worrying, it’s for celebrating and I will celebrate. Gonna enjoy watching the play-offs now too 🙃.

The passion and the desperation I have for the club to be a success has sent me into an absolute tailspin for the last 2 years. I just haven’t been able to deal with the crushing disappointment of going from the highs of 2021 down to where we were a few weeks ago!
BUT - this is the first step to recovery. Even if (and we surely will) get relegated next season, it’s money in the bank we can’t live without and allows the club to rebuild. This time Top really has to show he can do that and take decisive action next season if things start spiralling again
Great you were in Leeds - what a fantastic coincidence. Have a few tonight on me mate I’m sorry for violently disagreeing at times - it’s just my inability to deal with disappointment and the way our club seemed to be descending into madness at times!

It feels good to be back doesn’t it so let’s enjoy it because next season could send us into a tail spin again!
I never have a problem with us disagreeing, that’s what forums are for and to challenge my own opinions too. But we both want the best for our club and that’s one thing we both argue passionately for.
It will be interesting to see how we handle the summer and what Top does. I’d like a sensible investment in the playing squad aligned to the policy we had when we went up last time rather than any boom and bust approach tbat went so wrong for us last time!
