What will it be?

The way Ipswich played against Hull today was the polar opposite of us yesterday. They just need a point at deflated Coventry to be in the driving seat.
Fortunately, Hull are virtually out of the play-offs and this leaves us, the Baggies, the Saints and Norwich. Interestingly, Saints and Baggies are in dreadful form. We have beaten Norwich twice this season.
This might not be as tough as we think.
First of all, we have to put the QPR result aside. It is not typical of us.We have averaged two points a game this season. You don’t lose that rigour overnight. We know the level of performance this team is capable of.
Secondly, we played QPR after that mind-shattering game at Boro where the players left everything on the pitch. We then played a team that had two more days to prepare for a crunch game than we did. In my view, we were simply spent. There was nothing left in the tank.
Thirdly, and this is something we see in the Saints too, our players are not used to a 46 game season. Add the 6 internationals for the Welsh lads and the additional cup games and you are looking at an additional load of close to 25% for our players this season. We don’t have the depth in our squad to deal with that.
What I am saying is that as bad as we feel now, this season is a long way from being over. We can either dwell on the mistakes or we can prepare to go into battle once again. What will it be?

Barring a miracle collapse of Ipswich, playoffs beckon and we know how we fold at the slightest sign of pressure.
We aren't going up.

If somebody had offered us Blackburn and QPR a couple of weeks ago?

It going to come down to the day itself, whoever we play.

Let’s just wait until Tuesday night first and see where we’re at after that game.

Unfortunately, it is absolutely typical of us right now.

We averaged 2 points per game pre international break, then 1 point per game since, so I'm afraid we did lose that "rigour" overnight.

Reality is we're playing poorly right now, we have no excuses that other teams don't have.

This is where Farke needs to earn his pay, find a way to turn teh results.

Right now, I don't fancy us to win any remaining games against anyone, that is how deflated I feel from not just this set of results, but this set of performances.

We know we can do better, we have to regroup and work out way to overcome teams that really know how we play and have seen how others nullify that.

I'm 60, I don't think I have ever known Leeds to make things easy for themselves.

Our first season back in the Premier League under Bielsa was pretty good, Jonty. We have also come back after a bad spell at the start of this season, and after that wobble in December. It can be done, and we have done it before this season. If we go back to Kamara and Gruev in the midfield, that will at least give us the stability we have lost over the past half a dozen games. Hopefully, Roberts is fit for the play-offs. That leaves Farke with some decisions about Gray, Georginho and Joseph. Piroe, sadly, just doesn't work for us at the moment. Look, at our best this season, we were unstoppable, especially against the top teams. We won't be playing the likes of QPR or Blackburn for those three games. We have done the double over Ipswich, Leicester and Norwich. Do you really think we are a lost cause?

Id be tempted to bring Cooper back and move Ampadu in to midfield with Kamara. Move Gray back to Rb

We need to try something different and Coops isn't as bad as some make out .

Cooper has been as bad as some make out this season, unfortunately that is entirely of Farke's making, not had any opportunity to build up any understanding with Rodon or any match fitness. The same can be said of Cresswell, Gelhardt and a couple of others.

Although I agree with Gray going back to rb and that might happen I think it's too late now to start experimenting again with the centre of defence, possibly could do if Struiyk was available but as DF is very set in his ways Ampadu will stay alongside Rodon.

I do hope Farke deploys Kamara and Gruev in the middle which for most of this calander year yeilded Leeds a lot
of victories but whether it will be enough to sneak up in the top 2 obviously Coventry will have a massive part to
play in our fate this season.

If it's to be the play offs DF I think has to revert now to the starting 11 that before the international break was so successful for us and there's no reason why that team can't raise itself and be good enough for 3 games more and get promoted at Wembley.

I feel like tonight's result will be like a knife in the heart, but nothing compared to failure [again] in the play-offs.

If that is to be our fate though, I also feel like my enthusiasm at the start of next season will be greater than if we do manage to go up, but have a season of heavy defeats, VAR injustice and relegation fears to look forward to.

Every cloud as they say.
