All Cyber trucks have now been recalled due to a design flaw that sticks the throttle down.
https://www.topgear.com/car-news/usa/uh-oh-tesla-has-recalled-every-single-cybertruck
Every single truck that was sold since November will need to go back to be fixed, shouldnt be too much of a problem however given that they haven't even sold 4,000 of them yet. which is quite a jump from the 150,000 per year that Musk said it would be capable of from day 1 and miles off the 250,000 he predicted after 1 year.

Right up there with Apple and Vision Pro it seems (regarding sales). Exec just not being able to read the market is a little crazy to me

seems strange cos they claimed they had over 1million pre orders, and claim they can get over 10k out the door a month .... im sure none of those figures are made up!!

I guess when you make it illegal for 70% of the world doesn't help.....

He treats great people as wearable parts, asks too much from them and if anything falls short he dumps them. Rinse and repeat

Mercedes and BMW both have vehicles which match or better the range of teslas.
China is entering the ev market in a big way.
If you want a luxury vehicle there are much better options than the tesla
If you want distance there are much better models
If you want a budget ev there are now great options out there.
Musk went and annoyed a huge number of his user base with his antics on and with twitter.
Tesla in no way stands out above other ev brands anymore, and those brands don't have an owner who is deemed toxic by a huge number of people who are more likely to own an ev.
That and the fact that their most visual product has had numerous failures or problems.

"Rust spots" are now developing on the Cybertrucks due to rain. Its not proper rust but surface rust whilst not damaging the shell is staining them. they are not able to wash off and need to be buffed.
Any truck exposed up to 2 days of rain is showing this.

on the upside however, for $6,000, Tesla offers to wrap the trucks in a black or white paint film, which the company says covers all exterior stainless-steel surfaces, and protects against scratches, and stains according to its website. A clear paint film is also available for $5,000.
