They must explain their actions

I have seen so many incidents in this season when incidents that are alike ended up, be wait for it....different in refereeing or VAR decisions?

Take one incident when Arsenal keeper Raya came out flapping and didn;t get the ball which led to Bournemouth getting goal back in a very crucial moment of the game then being overruled and not given? Where is the foul on the keeper? No amount of repeats showed not even a hint of a foul and yet chalking off a goal at a crucial moment just effectively the ref swayed the game to one club's favour.

You then watch the pens given for Kavertse who dragged his trailing leg and even got it over the keeper, being given a pen when it was hilarious what the player was seekng to do. Trying his best to manufacture a foul and yet the officials gave it!

Officials sit in the comfortable knowledge that they don't have to justify their mind blowing decions to the paying punters so enables them to choose pretty much when too apply and rule or not, if whims or desires overtake them.

I think it is high time, officials explained in clear language after the game why was some decisions, that played a pivotal role in the outcome of the game or outcome of a league position, was taken the way it was.

It can be a representative who represents combien VAR/Officials on the ground, get together and one of them explains the decisions, whether they are mistaken ot not, at least we can get a flavour of how officials see games.

This wont happen. Just watch the list of clubs given the most pens this season who are in double figures for pens given

1. Chelsea, 12 pens (11 scored)
2. Arsenal 10 pens (10 scored)

Against those given the least:

19 Spurs 2
20. Nott Forest 1

Not all those pen incidents would have led to a goal necessarily so getting pens is a very fruitful and gainful game ref decision.Assuming the pen was the winner or triggered a win.

I just think the refs just make it up as they go along based on how they feel with a specific club for key decisions. The non-key decisons they don't care imo.

Amazing though 30 points gained from 12 yards!

If you compare that to the incide

There is absolutely club bias going on, most referees bottle giving major decisions against certain clubs because they don`t want the inevitable shiete storm that follows from managers / the media.

Just look at the fortnight long outpourings of grief, constant hard luck stories and bashing of the officials when the gave a (extremely rare) bad decision against Varpool for example.

Spurs benefitted from the worst decision in the history of football, so shut your ugly vindictive mouth.

Completely agree it was a shocker

But there is a huge difference with that one….it was an actual mistake , the correct call so we are told was made but not communicated properly

The goal was meant to have been given

It wasn’t a decision mistake but a communication mistake

It’s in its own ball park on its own

Spurs are one of the biggest clubs in the country.

If there is bias, you’re benefiting from it.

Not at the same levels of the other big clubs though, you won`t see us given penalties for dives like the others and you won`t see us let off clear red cards etc etc, in fact the opposite happens.

Some clubs are given the benefit of doubt, others are not, referees bottle decisions against certain clubs and not against others. VAR has proved this.

Still in the dark how on free kicks & corners… the opposition are allowed to impede, barge into, fiddle with gloves etc… of our goalkeeper…so many goals have been conceded because of this… I always thought the goalkeeper was given protection, benefit of doubt etc…
Then there was the Incident with Raya over the weekend, when he was hardly touched, yet awarded a foul… Vicario has been fouled every time… yet goals still stand ffs!
Someone please clear this up…
