This. mainoo has been a breath of fresh air but nowhere nearly as good as he’s made out on here. Hojlund raw, nacho quality but can certainly improve. As others have said we shouldn’t be relying on them at this stage

The amount of fans we have dissing Hojlund on the thread below really need to be taking this into account.

There are very few players who are regular first team players in the premier league at twenty years old.

Proper generational talents like Ronaldo and Rooney don’t come along every season.

I'm sure all fans at other clubs do it but United fans are ridiculous. Redtomato (or whatever he's called) it's a perfect example of someone who thinks you can just play any kid and they'll thrive.

Yeah United fans are really bad for it because of the club’s history of developing youngsters.

City fans are pretty obsessed as well because of the club’s history of abusing youngsters.

I prefer to watch them that some of the "experienced" football "stars" we couldn't sell even if we begged. Eriksen, casemiro, Bruno, Rashford are not getting better. They are all on their way down, I prefer to have hope and be disappointed than know and expect average.

Our under 19 will fight more than what we pay millions a month for. So yeah, Mainoo and Garnacho are saints and cannot be touched. Ride your horses with Casemiro.

What are you even talking about? No one is happy with the state of the club and our squad. That doesn’t mean we just play a bunch of kids because they’re doing well against other kids in a league that has absolutely no comparison to the PL. We are already over reliant on 3 kids who aren’t ready, why do you want us to use even more that are even less prepared?

Players do not get prepared by having managers not ready to give our young ones a chance, especially after our "experienced, quality" players are doing nothing. What are you looking for? What we have is pure waste. We are at the point where we can reshuffle the team completely or continue the song and dance we just finished.

Top 10 in spending, wages and there's no player who would leave that will make me angry. Except those youngsters. They CAN get better, they are OURS. I'll never not fill this way, till we get the managerial system at maybe citys level. I have nothing to look towards, just dream of one day getting another 97 team.
