Well.............

That was some game and probably a fair result.

Still leaves everything to play for and going to Palace last game isn't ideal the way they are playing at the moment.

Let's see what happens this evening, a draw no good either way so I expect similar to last night.

That was the first time that we had some energy for quite a while and although defensively brittle at times, we do look good going forward.

Terrific from Big Jhon and the rest especially SJMG.

That was some save from Allisson at the end too.

Whatever happens between now and Sunday evening thank you Villa for an exciting entertaining season.

Thought it was a good watch with both teams trying to win the game. Bit disappointed to lose a lose goal lead but it was such fine margins that either side could have won.

Be interesting to see what Villa do in the market but I’m pleased your back at the top table.

CL qualification gives them breathing room financially, but they still can’t make too much of an impact in the market until the quality regularly. The good news is they won’t have to sell anyone if they get CL.

This is mostly due to a wage bill that is very high compared to revenue. Newcastle are similar, another year out of CL football next season and they might have to sell Bruno or Isak to balance the books - which is mad when you think who their owner is.

Chelsea might not even be allowed to play in Europe next season if they qualify due to their wages to turnover ratio - they will likely have to sell quite a few players despite qualifying as UEFAs rules are even more stringent than the leagues
