Yeah I said it

3 weeks and a half weeks out from the tournament, Ive seen the squads and I’m calling it. Balls on the line, opening myself up for pelters.

England or France win the Euros, the only side England can possibly lose to is France and if they don’t beat us then we definitely win the Euros.

Our squad is faaacking stacked, the talent is insane and other than France - who also have an amazing squad, the rest of Europe is meh or just plain schitt - see Scotland.

Feel free to bookmark, I won’t go hiding if it blows up in our face.

England have the best squad, it’s coming home

Plus the quite simple fact that no-one, at any point, said Spain were a counter attacking team

I feel the truth is somewhere in the middle. I think culturally the British game has a far bigger focus on power, even now, just look at the City team Pep has put together.

I also think Peks is right, that Spain culturally have a focus on technical ability over power.

That’s changing though, especially with less and less contact in the game.

Of course but it doesn't mean you get a load of powerful players in the team without and technique or that Spain should get a load of technical players without any power. Players and coaches are multinational now. They learn things in other countries and you get a blend of style.

It's very simple. You have a group of players, you play to their strengths. England have some quick and powerful players of course but they also have great technical players, one who can't get a look in, in TAA. Foden who has mostly been on the bench.

A manager with a modern approach has them dominating games and the defence don't have to worry too much. By all means shut up shop a little when playing the better sides if it's needed, personally I don't think it is. The players are there. However with a dinosaur approach the players will get you far but not far enough to win as you will come up against other top players but with a modern approach.

Can someone suggest a name change forfeit for Strikemug when England inevitably go out to someone (other than France) in the Semi's

Only just seen this so don’t know if it’s been asked. Is picking the top two teams in the betting really putting your balls on the line?

See comment above yours - Rusty does t think it will turn out this way and plenty on here don’t.

I’m all for the Mocking but rather than sitting in the fence, pull the tweezers out and tell us how you think it will all turn out
