4 Sale or possible Loan update

As we go into todays match against Wolves & the last week of the transfer window, the club seem to be continuing to move players off the books, the 25 man squad nearing completion.

Questions- doubts still remain with certain players but the numbers are thinning out and the club have taken the gloves off with its policy to cash in on pure profit assets and further reduce the wage bill structure.

Don't shoot the messenger, this post is not about whether the clubs policy is right or wrong, it is a simple update into what has been at times a chaotic summer window.

The club currently have the following player(s) numbers = 36

Squad- 23- U-21- 7- 4 Sale or Loan- 7

The 23 man Squad ( 2 places remain open)

Jorgensen, Sanchez, Bettinelli: = 3

James, Gusto, Cucu, Viega,= 4

Colwill, Forfana,Tosin, Diasasi, Badis= 5

Caicedo, Lavia, Enzo, KDH, Mudryk, Palmer, Neto, Felix= 8

Nkunku, Jackson, Guigu= 3

The 6 under 21's

Pendez, Kellyman, Gabriel, Caisedei,= 4

Washington, Forfana = 2

Up 4 sale/ loan- 7 players:

Petrovic, Chilwell, Sterling, Chalobah, Broja, = 5

Madueke, Carney= 2

Lukaku's 33m ,move to Napoli is rumoured to be going through.

Keppa is no longer on the club's website, so he seems to have moved, no confirmation as yet. Bournemouth was rumoured as a possible destination?

Brojas move to Ipswich seems to stalled, there may be an issue with an injury?

Madueke & Carney may still make the the 25 man squad, as there is 2 places open, but we are still actively in the market looking for a cut priced striker we can have a deal for.<a


The biggest issue for the club still remains the 5/7 squad players who are up for sale.

Doubt very much if Broja is going any where any time soon unfortunately.

The squad is shaping up a decent goal scorer would really help. Imo the issues still remain, we have no top G-Keeper, the defence is light in quality & we need a 20 a season striker.

The other question mark is do we have the players across the squad technically able enough to adapt to Maresca's style of play???
