Foden's a completely different sort of player, there's no reason both of them can't play in the same England team.

Due to injury, Foden hasn't even started a game yet this season but apparently people think he's finished.

I think people are judging based on what he brings to England and time and time again Foden doesn't turn up for them.

He played (and scored) in both the Super Cup and the Community Shield just before he left - It wasn't like he was out of favour.

He asked to stay, but go on loan. Pep said no, the choice is stay or go, no loanoption.

So for example, had Pep been more flexible, and actually allowed a loan, then Palmer would probably still be at City.

Yeah Pep said stay or go, no loan, and he went "alright, I'll go then"

There was a pecking order that he wasn't happy with, he wanted to stay & play for Man City. My point is Pep made a misjudgement on that pecking order.
