Hate-watching Jake Paul

I ain't putting this in the "Boxing" forum as it's not boxing, but a joke.

It seems most will tune in to watch the one of the best boxers ever knock Jake Paul out.

I have always said to myself that I would never watch the fight even if I already have a Netflix account. I found the gimmick to be cheap and low. A late 20-year-old fighting a 58-year-old legend who has been documented to have sciatica and, at one point, needed a walking stick.

As fight night becomes closer and closer, the recent trash talks by Jake Paul is certainly drawing me to want to hate-watch him get knocked out in the early hours of Saturday morning, even though I have an early appointment later. I must give it to the guy, Jake is doing his heel promo very well. I want to see him dropped.

Tommy Fury had already shown the world that Jake Paul had issues when not fighting retired MMA fighters, which is a completely different discipline.

I remember the days when, if you tune into prime Tyson’s fights even a minute late, you’ve missed the whole fight. I hope Iron Mike still has the technique, power, and accuracy to do the same again so I can get to bed at a reasonable time.

You're all the reason why we will get celebs playing for professional football teams soon, just because you'd watch them. Jake Paul playing for Middlesbrough. You'd watch it because you are a DISEASE! Each every one of you. A DISGRACE to sport. Now get out of my sight!

I'm not asking for much. Just an apology. I can write you a template if you like.

Hi I'm ------------, I acknowledge that I am responsible for the continuing loveislandification of sport. Every time I watch a celeb fight, I moan about how staged and boring it is, yet I continue to legitimise them and in the build up to the next one, I inexplicably blank out what has gone before and continue to big them up and watch them. I am a serious problem and I apologise to fans of real sport. I promise that I will remember this time. I propose to change. Again, I am sorry.

Please use the above template.

Main event was crap but hardly unexpected. Those of us who know boxing, knew that Tyson was going to have little chance of winning at his age. He couldn't even do it anymore 20 years ago.

At least Taylor vs Serrano was a worthy fight for our attention even if I disagreed with the result. The fight before that was great as well.

It’ll be dragged out and the decision will be on points

Wouldn't Tyson be gassed out by then?

Why did you watch and give them more reason to do more WWE fights? You're all that's wrong with sport. Have strong words with yourselves

unassailable; solid; hefty; rugged.

Now what?

I've never watched a Joke Paul fight until this morning. I was only intrigued and hoped to see Mike Tyson knock his block off. Honest.

I will never watch him again unless it's him v Trump.

Also, do you realise how much trouble they'd all get in if he actually knocked out a 60 year old man? It will have been in the contract of the show that he is not allowed to knock him out or cause harm to the elderly gentleman.

99% of boxing shows now are just the acting in the build up and that's where they make all the money. The live performance part of the show actually matters very little. The money has already been made. They could sit about and share a cup of tea together in the ring and it would make no difference. Money already in the bank. And you keep falling for it.

The rematch should be good. Can see Tyson knocking him out cos he'll be angry. Hopefully fights Logan next. That will be a closer fight I reckon.

I imagine each would have their own cup of tea.

Its good that he is getting called out about fighting a pensioner.

That is disgraceful punching a guy in his sixties just for some youtube views.

Shows how much society has gone to the gutter.
