I've had trouble with my internet, and have been unable to make any comments for the last few weeks , but I have religously used my computer at work,to keep uptodate on whats being said on JA606. There seems particularly litttle comment after the great win at Rotherham.
Ours is one of the most active sites on JA606 for 2nd Division teams with a good level of debate and general banter. What has happened to "Otep" and "Emnez", who are so good at starting an idea, report, train of thought ,etc which stimulates comment and discussion.?
Is it that we can't cope with being so high in the League? Yes, we dont get carried away, and defeat at Accrington followed a similar win at Southend, and Friday night will be a tough game and we could come unstuck against an in-form Cheltenham side.
Lets enjoy our current success. Lets talk about it! Lets celebrate it! and talk about it. Some weeks ago I made a comment about 10 reasons to be optimistic about the Brewers, and got so carried away that I easily came up with 17 plausible reasons. It has got even better with:
18) A strike force of any two from Richards, Zola & Kee which is feared by
other sides.
19) TJ and Rhino playing well and giving some "backbone" to an always fragile defence.
20) Strength and depth in the squad, and genuine competition for places.
21) Cleveland Taylor is back!
So bring on Cheltenham!. As a betting man I have a word of warning. Yesterdays odds to win were Evens - Burton and 5/2 Cheltenham. Ridiculous odds on Cheltenham, its much closer than that, and to my great shame I have taken the value for money odds, hoping that this is one bet I dont collect.
Cheltenham are good! We know what a good player Russ Penn is, and they have some quick exciting players. It'll be tough. No excuses, every Brewers Fan must get down to the Pirelli on Friday night, and shout and encourage the Brewers to another win.
Keep debating. The dream is still alive!
C'mon you Brewers
Brewer Dave
Where's all the debate gone?

Yes on paper we look to be doing rarther well. I dont think we have been playing as well as when we started the season but we have still been picking up points, which is great for us. Teams can play and hold the ball like brazil but if you dont have any teeth up front you wont win any games.Good for us we do have strikers who know were the net is.Rotherham in the second half chucked everything but the kitchen sink at us, but we just soaked it all in.We must give ourselfs more credit as the only thing that matters when the dust settles is the scoreline and points in the bag. Keep it up Brewers. More points on Friday please.

Still here brewerdave,i certainly am not getting carried away with our position in the league. The games against Plymouth and Bradford were very poor performances but we still got 4 points on the board and that shows we are making progress. For me the signing of Justin Richards is the master stroke, his determination and workrate seems to have rubbed off to the whole team.Yes i agree Dave Cheltenham will be a stern test for us and perhaps we ought to get a little bit more positive if we get the 3 points.Yes i wonder where our good friend Otep is.

Good post brewerdave, absolutely on the money!
We have come a long way, last two seasons we would have settled for League 2 status now we are talking openly about mid table and even the playoffs, Burton Albion are a great run club with solid foundations the future is very bright, with steady progression each year League 1 may not be too far away but once we get there that may be the top of our aspirations.
Come on you brewers!!!

Nice to be back.
My Partner as been very ill and still is .
I think we have had a great start to the season long may it continue.
Agree Fridays game against Cheltenham will be tough but if we are making progress than these are the games we should now be looking to win.
