Not an Ange out article or another Levy rant.
Genuine question.
The metric of a good manager is not only getting the results/trophies but also improving and developing players.
So has Ange actually improved any of our players?
If so who?
I honestly can't name one.
Maybe you could say Kulusevski?
With Poch you could see the coaching and development of players like Rose, Walker etc.
Well he definitely hasn't improved any defenders that's for sure! Lol
Will he be able to get the best out of Archie Gray, Bergvall etc.
Maybe it's too early and I'm being too harsh on him but I haven't seen any evidence.
Thoughts?
Has Ange improved any players?

Did Mourinho or Conte improve any players ?

Romero was better, Son was better, Kulu was fantastic that first season under Conte.
Actually improving a player though - no probably not - probably part of the reason why we sacked both of them. So why is Ange still here?

Nope.... Nobody has since Poch.... Probably why someone like Potter (based upon his work at Brighton) is a good fit.. Did well with young players and those not quite at the highest /most expensive level
I would have brought back Poch instead of Ange. If he could have applied what he did first time around with the kind of spending power we have given Ange I think he could have finished the job and won us something... anyway, too late now

Not knocking him. Thanks to us giving up so many chances under Ange, Forster has been allowed the opportunity to keep us in games with big saves. He's improved him that way.

Great post, I was asking myself this same question the other day. We have a lot of young talent in the squad and I think with a manager who could improve them we could really develop them into top class players in a few years time. Poch did this well with a number of players but I don’t see Ange doing it albeit he hasn’t had all of them since the start of his tenure. But Brennan Johnson is one player who definitely needs coaching, he has pace to burn and can finish but absolutely zero confidence to take a man on, which would add so much to his all round game. 99% of the time I think BJ brings nothing to the team and then every now and again he pops up with a goal but I don’t think it’s deceiving spurs fans even if it is pundits. Would love to know what Ange is doing to improve his all round game but I don’t see any evidence of it on the pitch

Not improved a single player.
Just who we are mate.
Ruining youngsters and unfairly treating players is a key aspect in Anges reign.

Couldn't agree more re Johnson, non-existent for the majority of any games he plays, Christ, even Tony Galvin used to consistently take his man on and get a cross in, I'd imagine BJ is twice as fast as he was?!
