Well, talk about a massive backfire. Mickey is injured again and sounds like the same issue. Looks like 2-3 weeks but how long before it goes again.

This is becoming a serious issue, a race horse with bad hamstrings!!
We face the prospect of our Xmas fixtures with just Dragusin as our only fit CB. Not sure if we can recall Phillips in Jan, but I think we need to look at it.
Mickey injured again...

This simply is not sustainable the amount of injuries Spurs are getting. May as well just write the season off now.
Impossible to get any consistency with so many injuries to key players.
Going forward the club really need to look at who they purchase. Cannot keep buying injury prone players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
is that just a case of unticking the injury prone box on the scouting reports? You think Spurs have actively went out and tried to sign injury prone players?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s about building a proper squad that allows rotation without a huge gulf in quality. Something that Daniel levy can’t quite comprehend. He thinks he is saving a few million but now we have lost half the squad and have a couple of kids to step in.
Not a serious football club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
agree but I havent known a club that ever went out to sign injury prone players. Saying that the club needs to stop signing injury prone players as if they were being targeted or wasnt a factor when looking at a player is just nonsense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My point is, if they could be regularly rotated, they wouldn’t be injury prone. It was obvious to everyone except the parasite that one first team player wasn’t enough over the last two windows. I think it will now cost Ange his job.

there is no set rule, sometimes its just luck, Iv seen squads play loads of games and pick u few injuries Iv seen them play less games and pick up loads.
The point I was addressing originally and always was, is this notion and idiotic theory of not signing injury prone players.

You talk such crap.
VDV had no injuries in the season before he joined us. He had a hamstring injury the season before (20/21)...so he's hardly injury prone.
Romero and Odobert similar, nothing to suggest being injury prone. Even Richarlison's record is OK, a handful of short layoffs before he joined spurs. 18 games missed over 4 seasons at EFC. 49 missed for Spurs since joining (2.3 years).
In the same breath you'll have a go at the management for not signing Neto, a man with truly injury-prone past.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Perhaps Its Ange's unique brand of football and the way we train that's causing players to suffer an unusually high number of injuries ?

Maybe Celtic Fans noticed something similar when he was up there ?

We're hoping this failing manager can turn things around after the vote of confidence from the board, with a more injury riddled team than before. No chance.
We've been hit by injuries worse than last season when it derailed our early momentum. This season just feels like one colossal waste of time and a write off.

People thought we should have signed Eze but we'd have turned him into a permanent piece of medical room furniture if he'd signed with us. Even Kane would have gone back to being injury prone had he been kept around under Ange.

I don't hate Ange I just don't think he's doing a very good job.
In all honesty, I don't know if his training and attacking style is causing more injuries but it wouldn't be surprising if it was, in this much more physically demanding league he is in. We can now definitely blame him for our latest injuries to Romero and VDV though.
