I'm sorry that I have not been of the forum much of late but I have been fully occupied canvassing for The Reform Party UK. We need to get rid of theses clowns who are running the country.

6 defeats out of 8 Bolton have clearly blown their chances of 6th. Still got a chance but running out of matches. Injuries haven't helped with key men Forrester, Toal, Sheehan, Morley out and I do think Adeboyejo has been missed. Constant tinkering with the starting 11 and changes in formation haven't helped. What was that about yesterday playing your best striker in midfield and Lolos as a striker? He looks like he has lost the dressing room already.

Still a chance of a 6th place finish but highly unlikely that we can do it with the injuries that we have.

I've given up the ghost of promotion for this season and it remains to be seen what will happen for next season regarding investment.

Another soft defeat and the end of our chances of promotion. it's been on the cards for a while, the lack of investment in the January window, the sale of our top goalscorer, the mistakes that Evatt made in recruitment, and the real cause was the board not sacking Evatt at the end of last season.

A real problem now as we have several players on long contracts and rebuilding the team will be difficult to say the least, Schumacher has not covered himself in glory and a a huge question mark hangs over him.

As I have stated in previous posts, the real question is whether or not Football Ventures continue to hold control of the club. It hasn't worked for them, Their five year plan is in tatters and a change in ownership could be good for both the directors and the club depending on who the new owners are if the decide to sell.

A trip to Peterborough tomorrow and up to 12 players missing. This is where I don't miss the match thread trying to round it all up. Good news Bolton have taken up an option in max Conway's contract so he comes back from Crewe.

A bit more positive this morning. An away point with 13 first team play missing - Dacres-cogley, Toal, Forrester, Johnston, Santos, Dempsey, Sheehan, Morley, Sharples-Ahmed, Mendes Gomes, Osei-Tutu, Adeboyejo, Etete. Bit of an end of season party day out. A brilliant first start for Sam Inwood who didn't look out of place, Forino really looks the man at the back leading and scoring the equaliser. The defenders looked more comfy with Southwood looking a calm presence in goal compared to Baxter who has looked a nervous wreck. 6 academy players in the squad the future looks bright.

One game to go. Been a successful season for the women's side, under 18s, b team and the ground staff, not for what really matters promotion for the first team. After the Stevenage match will close this off and start the summer thread. At the very least keep up to date with comings and goings and pre season friendlies.

Thank goodness that season is over. A damp squib of a season finished with a 1-1 draw with Stevenage. Obviously a few kept away and not many stayed behind for the lap of dishonour. A few positives. Got the point needed to stay 8th ahead of Blackpool, we won't get smashed by Stockport in the play offs and I got a free program. Roll on next season. Oh Aaron Collins won player of the year. Here are the highlights
