First of all, changing the manager this close to a key game that could get us a trophy, a lots of ifs I know, but Levy has done this before, so hopefully he will wait until after that game, having learnt from it, but the fact like how unyielding and stubborn this manager who insists on playing extremely high intensity games which are impacting players and causing injuries, today Udogie got injured, are being flagged as a red flag to the hierarchy that sustaining this is unrealistic at this level of football, ok, for Scottish football, no offence, but not the PL
I am hearing that behind the scenes, the club is preparing a statement from the chairman himself, about the current status of the club, the worries of looming relegation battle, and the multiple injuries.
There are talks of the club having approached another manager to see if a deal could be worked out. Many journos are citing the name B Dortmund's Edin Terzic.
Lot of unhappy faces at the ground today after the game. The draw felt like a loss to the fans
Things will start to shift very quickly now the holidays are ending.
Changes Incoming

Not sure what the clamour is for Iraola.
Yes, he is currently doing well with Bournemouth.
They are 6th at the moment but could drop down to 8th when the other teams play their game in hand.
He got them to 12th last season.
We are at the half way mark now so where do you think they will end up? Probably between 6th-12th at a guess.
It is very good for a team like Bournemouth but nothing special. They lost to West Ham in the first round of the league cup.
He has never won anything as a manager and was sacked from his first job.
He lasted a year in his first job and he left after one year in his second job. He did last 3 years in his third job where he got a spanish team promoted from div 2.
As I say he is doing well but not exactly pulling up trees.
He plays good football which I think is something we have to have rather than a conservative coach but I think it would be a massive risk.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is improving at each club, plays good football, adapts to situations well and would seemingly be happy working with our budget.
I get Poch vibes from him and I think he is the manager we need for the rebuild - whether he can win a trophy is another story, but I think 3 seasons with him in charge and we will be in a much better shape as a club
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can't say 3 seasons because if he doesn't have a good start we can clearly see with spurs fans that they will turn very quickly.
Rebuild or not, injuries or not, fans will turn.

Give him at least the same amount of time and then see how much progress there is between the first month and the 16th month, or however far along we are with Ange.
A lot of fans seem to be afraid of making another change of manager, but that's the whole idea isn't it? If a manager has had a good amount of time in charge and the form isn't good enough, you get rid and then see if the next manager is any better.
It's really not like the form could be any worse with a replacement is it? If we lose to Newcastle this will be the worst spell of form we've had over 8 games since the 2 points from 8 Ramos spell...and we've had various sackings since then on account of poor form. Redknapp had 1 win in 9 in his last season towards the end, but guess what? He lost his job after that season and still finished top 4 (for a 2nd time).

He's just another flavour of the manager month. If he came to Spyrs, he probably wouldn't last six months.

The word is that no manager could succeed at Spurs because our fans apparently turn quicker than milk once things turn south!
Looks like Ange may get a reprieve from Levy until the end of season.
The knives have been put back in the drawer for now!

It's gone south ever since April and we're now just about to enter into January. That's 14 losses and 10 wins. I don't think you can say fans have turned quickly.
On current form Newcastle should beat us at home and then it's Liverpool. The knives are on standby and next week he will most likely get the chop.

Newcastle have recently resurrected their good form and have been looking really good. They would in all probability put us through a sword!! I sure hope not but in this contest, we are the ones who need all the prayers we can muster!

Levy has to just pay Iraola whatever is needed, give him the necessary budget and then faaaack off on a 10 year holiday - preferably somewhere with no internet or mobile phone connection. Every few months Levy’s versions of speckled Jim will turn up with a little note attached - which we will promptly shoot and eat.
in 10 years time he can come back and complain about how much those trophies have cost us

I do fully see why any fan would look at Ange's time 'coaching' Spurs and see it's not been great at all, fully fit squad or not since the Chelsea game last season, we've been pretty shat actually. Therefore, I don't think, one and half seasons into his tenure is 'pretty quick' to assess that almost every other side in the Prem has sussed out Ange's game plan?
I'm not an Ange in or out, personally, I want him to get to the end of this season, two full seasons, long enough I think to gauge. Currently,, as a win/loss percentage, we'll be lucky to even reach the conference euro whatever the fack it is but you never know, other teams might have a fall from grace second half of this season and help us? Our fate for the finale of this season is in as much their hands as it is our own

We are sleep walking towards a relegation fight.
I mentioned many times ange has a touch of Christian Gross about him and obviously the huge article about points per game has come out. Maybe Kane will come back like Klinsmann and save us?
We are an embarrassment everyone should be calling for his head. Then call for the head of Lange, Munn and Levy.
Paratici rejoins us in the summer, i fear Allegri is our next manager.

I think the most damning stat for Ange among all the terrible stuff you can list off, is that we are the only team in the league that hasn't gone more than 2 games unbeaten since March last year (we're as good as in the new year). Saints and Leicester are the only other teams who haven't this season. That's 2 newly promoted teams who already sacked their managers.
I see that Newcastle are coming to us in top form as well so prepare for another loss on Saturday.
