According to Andy Mitten, our previous managers all had problems with Marcus Rashford’s attitude and lack of effort, and complained “secretly" about it. What I find disturbing here is the fact that all those managers kept playing Rashford week in week out. Were they forced to do it? If so, by whom? I suspect the Glazers. The idea of the “local boy" as someone you build the team around, even if it implies sacrificing better players, is very strong in American sports.

He's back in the squad tonight apparently.
Whilst it's probably for the best if he leaves nothing would delight me more than him proving me wrong, knuckling down and showing Amorim that he has to be part of plans moving forward.

Nice sentiment Diafol but knuckling down is a minimum expectation from any professional footballer especially a utd player on the money he's earning.

If he scores the winner it'll be brilliant man management by Ruben.
If he doesn't he's a lazy, useless cant.

It would help get him out the door for his "new challenge"

How do we know his "new challenge" wasn't this very night! To rise from the ashes like a red horned phoenix.
I can see him pointing at his head tonight.

He is back in our squad. He is a Manchester United player.
Let’s support him and hopefully get 3 points.

Absolutely but it'd be great if the penny dropped after this recent spell of not being in the squad. It won't get any better for any of these United players than at OT. None of them will get a bigger club.
