The Square Ball

I'm sure a few on here follow and tune in
to these lads daily/weekly. I do. Week or so
ago they and a guest suggested that in
the summer Farke wanted a #10: Buendia.

And only Buendia. He didn't want to drop
down to Championship. Club offered options
other than him. DF rejected them. No #10
came in.

I also read recently about Farke's dying days
at Norwich. He won a power struggle between
himself and the recruitment team. Under
Farke's direction they made poor signing
after poor signing. He got sacked.

Recently, a number of our newly appointed
recruitment team members either 'moved on'
or flat out were released from duties.

Has Farke pitched another battle and won
at the expense of our recruitment team?
At the worst time.

Today, TSB have hinted at this maybe being
the case. And that the club is bringing names
to Farke. All so far have been rejected by
him. Is he pulling a power move? Is he
about to chuck all of the recruitment team's
work out the door because they still can't
land Buendia?

It all seems odd. But lines up with what I've
read on Norwich, our summer, and the TSB's
musings. Granted I do put a lot of faith in
what the TSB lads say. And they have some
very reliable sources to base this on. Not
saying it's fact or even true.

Smoke fire though.

TSB also said Farke didn't know who Schmidt was.
Was not his player. Might be why he can't get a look in.

see I like managers to have this say tbh... his team, his tactics, its a ridiculous notion that directors of football or what ever force players on managers.

Actually think we're (you're) Batty, looking way too much into this.

and I don;t get all this speculation either... surely THE best way to do business ion the transfer market is to be very silent, move stealthy. lets not be leaking it to the media ffs
