No VAR, no referee neutrality.
Today Arsenal got everything from the referee. The referee did all he could to get Arsenal the win.
It was just like the olden days before VAR that game was. No wonder Arsenal fans are always complaining about the refs since VAR has come along. VAR has evened things out.
This is why VAR is important, because without it clubs like Arsenal will get every referee decision under the the sun in their favour.
