Even more behind Forest
Behind West Ham who sacked their manager
Don't care about squad difficulties, this squad nder a competent manager is way above this.
To be fair, we just shrug our shoulders in our house now.
10 points Behind Bournemouth

I will only add one comment to all this chatter (before I watch the match tape)........
Romero is by far and away the very best CB at this club.
He is a world cup winner.
But then he played with very strong supporting team mates.
When he comes back into the Spurs side hopefully he will have Spence and VDV and Udogie to play with.

All mainly before the injuries ranked up. And that not counting the great results in the cup.
If you all can’t see how we have been hampered, I’ve no words.

Completely agree, I feel spurs fans see the result and nothing else. Oh well we have lost again, let’s just sack the manager and start again, like when has that actually worked out?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The result is the point.

Could we get relegated AND win a cup?

One thing I am sure of … no other manager in recent history is surviving 5 points in 27. Especially off the back of the second half of last season which was just a joke
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't know where this patience from Levy has come from all of a sudden. Does he think that Ange is going to recreate what Arteta did after a slow start? Because Arteta had already started making progress by this point and that's ignoring the trophy he'd won.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm guess the patience has come from his experiences of sacking a manager every 18months and the fact he left the manager short again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wasn't it you that told us that Levy was backing him after the Chelsea loss but that results needed to improve? We had all the injury problems back then. Well here we are 6 games later and form is still terrible.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And have the injuries improved?
Porro, Drag, Gray, Solanke, Kulu, Biss have been run into the ground. Apart from one free week we have been playing 3 times a week since late November.
You could tell tonight we how flat we are.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would say we've been flat for much of the season but that's just me.
There have definitely been occasions where Ange. could have rotated better to give certain players more rest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What defenders could he rotate when mist of them are missing? Who could he rotate up front when both Richarlison and Odobert have been missing for most of the season?
The fact he has to keep starting both Porro and Son shows you he cannot rotate at all.

One of the few sensible posters on the board. Those that do not see injuries have seriously derailed the season have shown themselves to be clueless.
There are even those that said Ange should have rotated more with like 10 injuries for months. There has been zero chance of any rotation with that many injuries.

Not true at all. Loads of opportunity to play Spence and rest Udogie - but he waited until Udogie broke down. Loads of opportunity to rotate the midfield and attack also.
Our injuries are mostly in defence and it’s the same 3 players as last season that can’t cope with the intensity of the system - Udogie, Romero and VDV

We’re Tottenham Hotspur, in the top section of earners in the Prem and after 2 seasons with Ange we’ve lost more games than Ipswich this year and after tomorrow we’ll lie 14th in the league. By any metric, injuries or not, that’s unacceptable. Couple that with the fact that of those positions were short in, goalkeeper, centre half and left back, all of those that have come in as replacements have received more plaudits than the originals in those positions, so it’s clear that the problems lie elsewhere. It’s not as if Romero, Udogie and Vic were tearing it up. They’ve also been in the end of some serious hidings and been responsible for individual errors. Our injuries have 100% been overplayed but the one thing that should have happened is for us to tactically set up to protect those less experienced. We don’t do it. Ange was happy to flog PEH last year and frankly that looks idiotic because an experienced patched up defence has absolutely zero protection. It’s 100% on Ange this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What serious hidings Fridge? Spurs have lost 10 Prem games by one goal this season. The only heavy defeat was against Liverpool where most of the defence didn`t play. You do tend to hyperbole everything.

Throw in the perfect domestic cup record as well, and it is not as bad as lots make out
Coventry 2-1
Man City 2-1
Man United 4-3
Liverpool 1-0
Tamworth 3-0
Plus six European games with only 1 defeat.
So 11 cup games with just one setback with half the side missing is pretty good.
Definitely think Spurs will be landing a cup this season.

He has rotated the midfield. Most of the time they have been crap, Bergvall aside.

really feeling the affect of not signing another couple of defenders, and improvements in midfield and on the wing
you never know next season if we can improve those areas and keep the squad more in tact should be much more positive, even with Ange
problem is the sustainability of his methods in keeping players available and consistency of results to challenge at the top of the league and for trophies
