DPL v MK Dons

This looks a fairly easy game if you base judgement on recent results and the stats behind them. MKD have often seemingly wasted possession, but they do have something in common with Rovers in that they have recently narrowly beaten Harrogate.

Somehow these Dons seem to have lost their way in advancing their cause because surely Milton Keynes could support a Championship club. Consistency seems to have been the problem over the years with ups and downs and frequent changes of manager. Currently I think they have Kuwaiti owners, but they do not seem to have found the winning formula and despite recruiting seemingly well qualified managers they have not been able to successfully achieve sustained team success.

Like Rovers they seem to be better away from home, although their form has tailed off recently.

Optimistically there are grounds for believing that Rovers have been strengthened by recent loanees who ought to improve and will be buoyed up by the win at Barrow.

I’ll hope for 2-0 with Street, Crew and Ennis candidates for the first goal.
