Forest v Brighton - Match Thread

Well…Bournemouth didn’t go to plan! A chance to put things right quickly…hopefully.

Bournemouth:

The Good: Them.

Bad: Us!

The Ugly: Us again!

Special Mention(s): Them again!!

The Last Time we played Brighton: D2-2 Wood and Sosa either side of their two goals. MGW sent off late.

Sels

Aina
 Milenkovic Murillo Moreno
Anderson JWP
Elanga MGW CHO
Wood

Proposed Line-up:

Sels
Aina Milenkovic Murillo Williams
Dominguez Anderson
Elanga MGW
 Sosa
Wood

Subs: Miguel, Morato, Moreno, Moreira, Danilo, Sangare, Yates, Silva, Awoniyi

Injuries: CHO
Not selected: Hennessey, Boly, Toffolo

 & JWP

No CHO…but Sangare confirmed fit at least.

League Form:
 Brighton - the last six:

D0-0 v Brentford
D2-2 @ Villa
D1-1 v Arsenal
W2-0 @ Ipswich
W3-1 @ Man United
L1-0 v Everton

Beatable then!

Prediction:

We were going to lose eventually, so it’s now about how we bounce back.

2-0 to Forest!

Final Words:

Based on our next run of fixtures we’re unlikely to go on an unbeaten run. So, a win here is key with who we have coming up.

"The Magnificent Seven! 🌟🌳🔴"

Nottingham Forest have hit 7️⃣ goals in a match three times in the modern era.

📅 20 Apr 1991 – Nottingham Forest 7-0 Chelsea ⚽
📅 14 Apr 1995 – Forest 7-1 Sheffield Wednesday ⚽
📅 1 Feb 2025 – Forest 7-0 Brighton ⚽

Chris Wood’s hat-trick fires us to our biggest win since ‘91, and our best Premier League result since ‘95!

This is Nottingham Forest. This is history. This is The Magnificent Seven.

I can’t help thinking Liverpool will win the title off the back of a hugely disjointed league when there is literally no one to challenge them other than Arsenal and us. Their only other title was won in a chaotic pandemic season. Says everything about them.

Superb response to a slightly harsh scoreline last week.

I'd have settled for 5-0, but SEVEN?
