Spurs not getting relegated. Ridiculous to think that would have happened anyway. Although some were adament that Spurs were going down.
Strike right in the mud today. Predicted a 2 goal loss yesterday, not surprising really, he wants Spurs to lose every game just to say he was right. He will of course be having to eat plenty of humble pie I suspect before the season ends. He is not alone of course. At least we won`t have any Ange out, Levy out for a few days.
Anyway I digress, big cup week coming up. Spurs may lose both, won`t be the end of the world, as the Europa should be the number one target. Trophy and CL all in one. Personally I think Spurs will find a way to negotiate at least one of the cup ties this week. Football has a way of not exactly going as predicted. Look at Carragher yesterday, made to look a right clown with his prediction, that Spurs would be conceeding three goals minimum. Never listen to the so called pundits, they are more clueless than your average fan.
Hopefully get a few players back at some time this week. Not sure about Micky, still think he has picked up another injury. We will find out about that shortly though. Will the new signing be available for Liverpool, and more to the point should he start? Davies was OK yesterday in the sort of game that suits him. High balls into the box, just get in a few blocks, and headers. Not sure he will do so well at Liverpool, where they will keep the ball on the floor more. So probably need Micky.
Difficult to know what team Ange will put out for the two cup ties, but if they battle like yesterday, then they could get something out of both. Only time will tell.
Anyway nice few days, two wins, two clean sheets. Last 16 Europa, and up to 15th. The Ange project is starting to take off again. Get the injured players back, and watch the team start to climb the table.

Carragher has just become more brazen with his opinions because Liverpool are doing well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I find his tactical analysis to be quite good at times, MNF is usually quite interesting. But his opinions and his co-commentary are just awful. He seems to have fallen into the trap of trying to sensationalise everything, make big bold statements to gain attention.

Watching the Spurs v. Brentford game from a bar in Hong Kong right now and I think it’s pretty admirable how much a team that has been horsed for months are fighting. Not how Ange is keeping the dressing room, any other EPL team’s players would be sulking around the pitch.

ridiculous to think that your sitting in 14th closer to being relegated than getting a europa conference league spot.
No one on here was adamant, they said they are in a relegation battle since yesterday was your first league win in almost 2 months
----------------------------------------------------------------------
At least we have some reasons for underperforming. United are the ones with almost a whole squad to choose from, the likes of of De Ligt (£50m) Casemiro (£70m) Hojlund (£60m) Zirkzee (£45m) sat on the bench.
We lost to Leicester with an awful performance, no excuses, but we had 2 18 year olds playing, Bissouma & Reggie on the bench and the next most experienced being Moore (17), and its been like that for months,

Not doing that. We have issues aside from the injuries, but people now like to reference our position in relation to the drop zone. I think the BBC reported we moved 10 points clear in their match report.
United's position is hardly better and their excuses are few, beyond just being crap.
Their next league game - Spurs @ WHL. Defeat in that and they may well jumped by Spurs, Everton and West Ham.

"The Ange project is starting to take off again"
It's only our second win in 12 games. Maybe calm down a little?

How many times do I have to reiterate there is a major factor in the Prem form. Massive injury crisis. Once the injury crisis subsides the results will massively improve. Come May I suspect Spurs will be sitting no lower than 8th.

Injuries or not, there's still a large hill to climb for Ange. All we did yesterday was put on our hiking gear.
With this week being a huge one for him, it's probably best to reserve thoughts of any project being up and running again until we see what we do in it.

I won't be judging him on two away cup games against two CL teams, where Spurs are the underdogs in both.
He will be judged at the end of the season.
