I think we all agree, only injuries stop us
from winning promotion. As we all know,
injuries are in-exact science. Until now.
After an extensive deep dive into the data
gathered this season, I'm now able to give
you peasants a rough guide to how we'll
fare, injury-wise, between now and May.
I was going to use the four scales of
measurement developed by Psychologist
Stanley Stevens: nominal, ordinal, interval
and ratio. But, instead opted for my own
scale - 1 to 'Is The Pope Catholic'. 1 being
the least likely to get injured and so on:
Meslier - 1
Darlow - 1
Cairns - N/A (If you don't play you can't get injured)
Bogle - 5
Byram - 9
Firpo - 8
Schmidt - N/A (If you don't play you can't get injured)
Rodon - 0/He's Welsh
Struijk - 9
Wober - 9
Debayo - N/A (If you don't play you can't get injured)
Ampadu - 4
Tanaka - 1
Rothwell - 1
Gruev - 6
Guilavogui - 1
Chambers - N/A (If you don't play you can't get injured)
James - 4
Gnonto - 3
Ramazani - 3
Solomon - 7
Aaronson - 0/He hasn't got time for injuries
Piroe - 2
Mateo - 1
Bamford - Is The Pope Catholic
Overall, my analysis suggests we'll have a few
nervy moments between now and the victory
parade. However, I think this time, we do it.
After all, the scientific data above can't be wrong.

LIW, it's obvious you don't believe we'll suffer any injuries rest of the way. Or if we do, you don't believe
we'll see any serious injuries that force players out
for a long period. And regardless, you believe we have
plenty of cover to stay in the top spot.
Fair enough. And let's hope you're right.

Like TSB suggested, the club is too risk averse.
I agree with that. But, the club has set out its stall now.
They believe (as do a few on here), they have enough
to go up regardless of any injuries that might occur
along the way. We have 25 players. Six or seven of which are either non factors or bit part players. So,
still a small squad with a high percentage injury prone.
This is a gamble. One we have no power to affect.
So be it. We all want them to be right.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So our risk averse owners are taking a gamble. Doesn’t sound risk averse to me.
