F*ck off. Hope he learned his lesson after leaving the big guns at home.
Absolutely embarrassing losing to Plymouth.

Really embarrassing. Plymouth ffs.
This is what happens when your manager doesn't care if you win the game.

All Slot’s Fault?
Well, yes, to an extent. He picked the team, he set down the plan, the tactics. And it didn’t turn out the way we all hoped.
End of civilisation in the Western hemisphere as we know it? Em, not really. The combination of manager and the players he selected didn’t work out
Full marks to Plymouth Argyle, they deserved it. After the debacle which was Wayne, they deserve some luck. No question as to the penalty, Harvey didn’t have the best of games; he definitely wasn’t the only one, far from it.
A bad day at the office was how Phil Thompson described it.
As said elsewhere on this post, give Everton a final farewell-to-Goodison spanking and all will be forgiven.
On that same day, the team Arne selects will have a point to prove, that PA defeat was a one-off.
Here’s hoping they do just that

Fab four on Merseyside........
It's still John, Paul, George and Ringo.
And THE treble still eludes you. Somethings just aren't meant to be.

Oh no, we might only win the double this season.

when i saw the team selection, i thought "we could have problems with that team"
then when Joe went off and no proper cb sub....
too many youth players and backups, that have no regular game rhythm, playing in the same team.
i get why, with having so many games and managing fitness blah blah. but Plymouth deserved more respect than that. Ibou and Mac shouldve started then remove at HT
the 1st team squad players shouldve done better. Elliott, Chiesa, Tsim, Diaz, Jota. all poor. But credit to Argyle! tactics worked well

He’s learning the hard way about the FA cup. It isn’t the big head to heads you need to be careful of. It’s away ties to lower league opponents. Big physical teams highly motivated often on shiyte pitches in terrible weather.

To be honest, if you go out in the FA Cup it's better to get dumped in the earlier rounds. You don't want to get to the quarters or semis and then lose. That's a waste of fixture congestion

To be fair it was the second game of four games in ten days. There was always going to be a load of changes when playing a bottom of the league Championship team. I still don't think the changes were the problem, the players put in are much better than Plymouth. However the blend in midfield was not right, it was too young and lightweight and they weren't able to control the possession which resulted in a bottom of the table Championship type game which obviously played into their hands.
It has since transpired that Jones wasn't fit at late notice, he was probably going to start the game.

It's gone from "Klopp has gone, Liverpool are back to finishing seventh" to "you won't win the treble lol" in six months. Lovely stuff
