Young Player of the Year

I would say Gray. Never puts a foot wrong. Just goes about his job. Bergvall has improved a lot as the season has gone on. But Gray for me.

We were conceding goals and losing games week in week out with him starting

That’s not his fault as the club should never have been in a position where we had to play him so much and fair play to him for always being available. But he has mostly not been of the required level (he’s only 18 so he has every chance of getting there in the future)

Club one should be nailed on id say

Bergvall is gonna be good but is not there yet. Watch his whole game he is off the pace which is normal. Stats are poor to middling. Unpopular opinion Jamie Donley is better than Bergvall but that is a discussion for another day.

I agree, I just can’t see what the end product is with the lad. He may mature from here and develop his game, he is only 18 after all. But for now he is just the Swedish Harry Winks, mostly neat and tidy on the ball but nothing exceptional and no clear attacking or defensive attributes.

Gray on the other hand has played everywhere across the back 4 and has mostly been very very good. His footballing intelligence and maturity is elite in my opinion and I am very excited about the player that he could turn into, everytime I watch him I am just more and more impressed - the pass today to Son for the 1st goal was sublime.

The thing about Gray is that he is playing everywhere and he is constantly progressive with his passing he does not play safe balls. Gray plays like he is 28 years old barr the positioning which will come with time. Very special. I think his brother will be joining us in June aswell.

Bergvall is very progressive aswell you can see what he wants to do but he is off the pace of the game. Something i really notice when i watch him live. Again gonna be a good player but needs some help with his progession.
