MIDDLESBROUGH v DERBY COUNTY Championship #35 |
1st March 2025, Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough |
I'm getting a bit sad about the parlous state of our football club - we just never seem to catch a break and this is not self-pity but a fact of our situation.
I'm fed up of saying "this is a must win", so I won't. But I am struggling to see where our goals will come from. A wise man once said "be careful what you wish for" when individuals were clamouring for Warne's head. Are things any different?
So lots to talk about and another match thread.
Reports I heard about the game last week say that Derby were well and truly mugged by a smash and grab from Millwall. That they did not deserve to lose but we did.
No more Ozoh this season which is depressing, no Kane Wilson either and Matt Clarke and Nat Philips are being 'assessed'. Along with CBT, Nelson and Dajune out for the rest of the season we could almost make up a complete team from the sick bed.
We live in hope, we still believe but do we enjoy?
