Felt quite optimistic after Sunderland and Sheff U reverses, but as is the Leeds way, we're making life hard for ourselves and I can't help but ever get rid of the feeling v Wigan under Bielsa.
I was happy that we didn't have to face Burnley, Sheff or Sunderland again, BUT, the flip side of that is that if they do overhaul us, we have no game against them to flip it back.
We could well find ourselves in 3rd place before having to play Millwall (who knew how to beat us a few weeks back) and then to QPR who walloped us there last season (I was at LIWs meant to be enjoying it, what a shocker that was!)
I really hope lack of January business does not come back to haunt us.
I feel we're a better side than last season, with a manager who knows how to get promoted, but my word, how many times have we seen us falter, and sometimes offer absolutely nothing when really needed (Watford play off final, Doncaster play off final, Southampton play off final etc etc).
Am now crossing fingers that others drop points.
Making it hard for ourselves

we're responsible, two poor teams we should have beat.
I blame Farke for being too rigid and only rotating if we got injuries. Aaroson playing every game will hopefully not come back to haunt us.

Yep, twists and turns … twists and turns.
Btw, I went to the game at Loftus Road last season … jeez I’m still having nightmares😱

Having slept on it, feeling a lot better today.
We were never going to avoid defeat between now and rest of the season - would have been a 27 game unbeaten run. Better to get the defeat out the way early rather than in last 6 games like last year.
Sheff Utd and Burnley just won last two but they were games you’d have always bet on them to win (I did actually, recommend it to anyone as nice insurance when results go against us, good odds as a double). Burnley had Cardiff at home and Luton away who got a red within 20 minutes and scored an own goal. Whilst we had the team in 6th and away at Pompey who on good form recently away.
Much trickier fixtures for them both this week, could easily see it swing back the otherway.
We are top, 10 game shootout with nicer fixtures on paper and 2 point cushion with better goal difference. Still in the driving seat for now.

Jonty, some good points made there. In the run-up to the Jan transfer deadline I too was saying that inactivity could cost us, but now - with the injury situation looking good - I think we've got a squad that, on paper, should see us through. Sadly we don't play on paper and my biggest fear is that, like last season (and most seasons I can remember) we bottle it. A win tomorrow against Millwall will settle the nerves but we really have put pressure on ourselves – again.

One other thing that I think most have overlooked is the fact that even if we miss out on top 2, we will be in the playoffs. So there would still be a route through. Yes, I know our history with that scenario etc, but we have been so good this season, we think it’s autos or nothing. It isn’t.

If that does happen at least we won't have to play Burnley.

My biggest concern is not the specific opposition, but by 3 pm Saturday we will have played 3 games in 6 days.
We looked a bit jaded in parts against Pompey, and Millwall will play the physical stuff. Leeds have often struggled at the 'Pantry' sized Loftus Road.
