Watching Liverpool Vs PSG....

... Unbelievable game. Amazing quality from both sides but especially a young psg team.

The depressing thing is just how we are a million miles from competing at this level and that our wage structure has us shopping in a different market to these clubs. The technical ability, pace and movement is way above what we are capable of and unless levy goes well be stuck in the same old cycle and going nowhere.

Added to this watching those PSG defenders, how they cover each other at the back, tracking runners, blocking, seemingly on the same wavelength. I watched us at the weekend just getting caught square, overloads on each side, runners from deep not being tracked at all.

We are a mess really...

Interesting that Enrique was linked with the vacant Spurs job in 2023 (and was out of work at the time) and most, including myself, were not that keen on him being appointed. His last job being the Spain one where he was sacked after failing to get passed the last 16 in the WC.

Turns out that he's actually a very good coach and PSG were a pleasure to watch and it was interesting to see them as a proper team, not just a bunch of individuals, as it has been for so long with them.

I watched this match and I thought the referee had a very good game, he did not fall for the Varpool diving and theatrics

Just to say lads, that their is a little game going on in Madrid this evening ,which might turn into a civil war !

Well worth a watch, if only to see Diego Simeone !

Mega impressed with the speed and precision of PSG’s passing, they were excellent last night. Play like that again and they’ll destroy Villa. Was an excellent game
