International break looming
If he is going to get the sack it will be then , especially if we go out tomorrow night ….would think it’s a cert then
If he survives the international break he is in for the season I reckon

Reasons to get rid of Ange now:
Less chance of more injuries
More chance of winning the Europa
Helps to get the ball rolling in finding a replacement
Helps to avoid more embarrassing results and performances.
Could get carried to a Europa win by the players, then you'd get idiots overrating him and we'd probably have to stick with him and suffer poorer form for longer.
Reasons to stick with Ange:
It's what the Ange In crowd would deserve
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I imagine it costs more to fire him mid season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought of that but it wouldn't be one for the reasons to stick with though. It would be worth the cost to eject him....one of our better uses of money.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Levy would care more about saving the money
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well yes, this is sadly why we won't be sacking him now and will wait until after we going out of the Europa.

I think we can all agree now that if we are to go out on Thursday then it will confirm that he goes and I can't see a point in carrying on with a dead man for the rest of the season, so he'll probably be sacked within 24 hours of us going out, especially as there will be a huge negative reaction from it.

More great support from Spurtle
You think sacking him last Friday and having Mason in charge would change our fortunes

I doubt he would be sacked because there is little point. He may well have a clause in there about Euro qualification which may mean we can sack him when that becomes mathematically impossible, with a lesser pay out
Any pay off will not be any bigger than what we pay him already so we don't lose money by sacking him now compared to June, it's just a decision about whether it better to retain him and try and build some unity and continuity or whether we hand over to a caretaker who themselves will not really do much good, if it is totally clear that they are not in line for the job itself, and we aint getting any permanent replacement in now.
The only thing that an early sacking will allow is a more conspicuous search for a new man. We wont be seen as going behind the managers back while still in seat like Utd were with ETH which massively back fired on them when they couldnt find a replacement and kept ETH with a new deal

I think if the club had any sense then they'd have sacked him and tried to appoint a suitable interim for the remainder. Mason is not the best but sure, him over Ange at this point, he can't be any worse and may cause a bit of a lift from no longer have Ange around.
I am supporting, as I think this is what would be best for the club. To blindly stick with a manager who is leading us nowhere and who we are producing poor performance after poor performance under is nonsensical to me.

If we put in a poor performance today and go out, the reaction is not going to be a pleasant one. Hard to imagine Levy won't be tempted to just get rid by then to help quieten down the crowd although I kind of hope we do stick with Ange because the reaction will be just and what they deserve. They being Levy/Ange/the OTT Ange defenders.
There is no point in sticking with a man who we're almost 100% sure isn't going to survive past the summer.

Oh i get that and the writing will be on the wall.
For me it doesnt make much different either way, with nothing to play for to keep or sack/caretaker. Neither moves us forward, its just how toxic it gets if we go out and he's still over seeing poor performances.
Not sure why you have something against fans who have stood behind the manager. You will find that while the majority may now see Ange as not the answer, that is not the same as wanting him sacked now. There may be many doubts but there have not been any Ange out chants etc
Fans who have been prepared to give Ange a bit of time to see if he can turn things around with a fitter squad "getting what they deserve" if he fails and is kept on until May. I simply do not understand this sort of attitude between Spurs fans. We're meant to be in this together and your biggest concern seems to be wanting to get one over other fans, and will relish them suffering if we fail.
Each to their own, But i have said it many times on here, there are plenty of Spurs fans I would not want in the trenches with me watching my back.

I'm not against all the pro-Ange fans, just the ones that are particularly dismissive of any criticism and happily belittle and insult those of us who can see it hasn't been working by voicing our own opinions. I'm not just talking about on here either, I've seen it enough online through many of these fan channels.
I feel I've given Ange time to show progression before declaring myself Ange Out but still have not seen any after a disappointing end to last season. We can talk about the injuries although I don't feel he's been handling them well and on many occasions creating them.
So yes, I feel the correct thing to do would be to sack Ange should it fall apart tonight. For one other thing it sends the message that the season and form has not been good enough. I mean imagine managing one of the worst seasons we've seen for decades and you keep him on until the end for the sake of it when we've given previous better performing managers far less time.

TBF most fans on here, who have not been Ange out have been pretty considered about it. Sandy likes to take a contrary position and that seems to pull the chain of those saps who want to bite, but other than that are there any dismissively & belittling Ange-in fans.
