I've been saying it all season and it was scoffed at. This isn't a brilliant Liverpool team. They have been the best of a bad bunch and been carried largely by Salah.

Newcastle - Not won a trophy for 56 years (even longer domestically)

It's been more than one off day.

You've been the best team in the league but anyone who thinks this is a brilliant team is talking nonsense. It isn't.

What is this fascination from rival fans of "being g a brilliant team".

Are arsenal invincible not a brilliant team either then when they only won the league that year?

Seems like sour grapes from many to me to try snd devalue lfc winning a potential prem title.

The 2013 one wasn't amazing. Van Persie got us over the line a lot like Salah has for you lot.

All the sides with Keane, Scholes, Giggs and Beckham etc were in a different league to your side.

McAllister n Gravenberch would have been bench players for us in that era at best. Maybe only room for one of them too.

Assuming you win the league, you will have won the best trophy possible. I had a discussion with some Pool fans on here who thought the CL was the best. It's certainly the most glamorous, but it's still a cup, so the title is the best imo.

Comparing eras and teams is different to saying g the league quality. The mane firmino and salah one would rip alot of the teams.

"It’s only a ‘Mickey Mouse’ cup after all"

United fans in here used to call the league cup this a lot in the Ferguson years, also used to call the Europa the 'Ropey league'.
